'With the reopening of clubs and festivals, Avidus present their debut EP for Oddity, loaded with tracks ready for the dancefloor.

The lead track, 'Prometheus', is a weapon for the peak time of the set. Full of catchy groove, a synth hook that characterizes their productions, which slowly adds tension to the construction of the track, leading into a break full of melodies and chords that will give you goosebumps.

The second cut, 'Clavigo', is characterized by a melody that resembles an arpeggio, throughout the whole track, with darker stab sounds appearing and complementing the development of this one.The pads and chords that characterize Avidus appear during the break, filling us with emotions throughout the rest of the track.

'Wanderer's Nightsong' is the next one, where the identity of Avidus is reflected instantly from the first play. A very catchy synth, crunchy sounds, and percussions that play between each other, creating an atmosphere of a danceable trip. Always adding their beautiful textures and chord progressions further in the track, giving a breath of fresh air and emotions.

For the remix duties, the French brothers, Betical, approach reworking 'Wanderer's Nightsong' into a breaks track. Using elements of the original, reworking it into their own version and adding new synths and elements that create a beautiful remix.'

The third EP on PUNKT PUNKT KOMMA STRICH is called "Pathless" and has been delivered by Agustin Giri, a talented producer from Argentina. Agustin has made quite an impact over the last couple of years publishing several releases and gaining support from well-respected artists such as Ditian. He joins the label by delivering a four-track selection from his audio lab, taking the listener on an emotional journey.

Agustin Giri starts the journey with the title track Pathless. Pathless features a heavy-hitting drum groove complemented by an emotional organic lead sound. While the groove continuous throughout the production, Agustin keeps adding layers of synths increasing the tension and resolving in an emotional and string drop.

One of TAU’s core family members and an artist who we discovered and nurtured from day one, Innellea returns to the label. Over the last couple of years it’s been amazing to watch Innellea grow and succeed, with his music catching the attention of labels such as Innervisions, Diynamic
and Afterlife. Now he’s back with TAU, delivering a neat four-track package that represents his unique, melodic approach to electronic music. The Hypolation EP is another big stride forward for this artist, who continues to impress with his production prowess.

First up is ‘Returning Spaces’, which begins with a rather sombre atmosphere, stuttered beats and rumbling bass. Hushed vocals weave anemotional narrative, while the instrumental becomes increasingly emotive, Innellea building up the tension to great effect. This one runs at just over three minutes, but it packs plenty of feeling into that time.

Next is the title track, ‘Hypolation’, which demonstrates Innellea’s ability to inject raw feeling into his dance floor compositions. A myriad layers buzz and swirl around each other, cultivating an illuminating atmosphere from the start. Within seconds you’re locked in, riding the wavelengths
until you reach the dramatic breakdown. Innellea teases the main riff back in with dexterity, and we’re immersed in the second half of the cut, which maintains its adventurous spirit.

‘Pathological Passion’ could be an apt description of Innellea’s love for making music. This one has a steady beginning, leading into a solemn, melancholy melody. The emotionally-driven core gently unfurls to become all encompassing. Innellea really tells a story with this cut, switching
things up around the two-minute mark, before the energy of the first half returns in abundance.

Finally, ‘The Arrival’ takes us into the mystical depths of the Middle East, with Arabian rhythms and instrumentation. A euphoric, trance-esque breakdown guides us into more exotic programming, it’s warm, energising and life-affirming. A perfect demonstration of Innellea’s versatility and his desire  to channel a range of influences into his productions.

Premiere: Øostil & VNTM & Caro Imhoff - Hibernation [Just This]

We are more than happy to welcome the German DJ and producer Lexer to Oddity, with his “Focus” EP making his debut on the label, accompanied by a remix from fellow native Jonas Saalbach.

Known for his ability to story-tell with his melodic productions, Lexer opens the EP with the track “Focus”. A track with a lot of groove and emotion that combines the best of both worlds, giving us a melodic piece full of energy, catchy chords and melodies.

On the remix duties, Jonas Saalbach, reworks “Focus” with a more aggressive and haunting touch. Adding new textures, drums and synths that play along with the original parts, making an alternative mix for the late hours of the night.

“The Sky Is Red” follows on the EP, a beautiful interplay of melodies and textures that follow each other throughout the slowly building track. Arp and synths play along to keep the interest and intensity growing on this melodic cut.

Last but not least, “Suffer” the deeper cut of the pack, drives us slowly with his groove and textures to the main hook of the track. When we get to the drop, all the emotions comes together with a heavy bass, and triad metallic synths, playing along a continuous arp and percussion, that creates the perfect weapon for the dance floor.

Back with @thirstyeyesmusic second release on JEAHMON! Records. And here comes another hypnotic hymn: "Heyoka", that takes Melodic House music into the next level. A beat full of dark drums and toms that makes you gonna move. An unique lead line is the catching element this time that is also the main hook in Sasha Carassis Indie Dance touched remix. The Italian artist who already released on labels such as Diynamic, ATLANT or Renaissance puts his current brand of music production inside this work, focusing on the grooving drum arrangement. "Fellini" closes down this release with another happy groove in the lows and a good-mood lead in the mids and highs. We're high too now!
