Following his first successful release on the label 'Blow Up', Daniel Orpi teams up this time with Barcawil and Tommy Naxty to deliver 'Cerca De Ti'. Orpi needs no introduction as he continues to cement his place in the scene with his unique tech house sound which has already been supported by various heavy-weights. He links up with Colombian DJ and Producer Barcawil on this occasion who recently made his mark in the industry songwriting for Blackchild ('El After') released on Cuttin' Headz. They decided to infuse their talent with fellow Colombian Tommy Naxty, a latin urban emerging artist who has captivated the souls and ears of many people with his unique voice, who also featured on 'El After' as the vocalist. 'Cerca De Ti' is the final product of this collaboration and is characterised as a groovy tech house track with a catchy latin vocal hook making it a proper roller for any DJ set around the globe.

After a brief hiatus, I'm back for 2018 with a another deep and dark set inspired by life events. Kicked off with a pair beautiful tracks from Hraach, then loaded with some deep progressive sounds from Tim Penner, Bedouin, Rick Pier O'Neil & Oscar Vazquez, Jerome Isla-Ae & Alastor, Zieger, Quivver, Killahurtz, Mary Jane Coles, and Worakls. It's a slow builder filled with sounds from around the world and underlying tribal elements.

Born in the unseeded Coast Salish territory called East Vancouver (by the colonizers), BC, Canada, Michael Mars Riel is Plains Cree and French on his Father Arthur’s side and Irish and Scottish on his Mother Susan’s side. Michael is a descendant of the leader of the Red River Resistance Louis Riel(look him up), who is a vital part of Canadian History. 

Michael or sometimes just Mars aka. Infinity Frequency has found joy in playing with sound since he was five, when his mother bought him his first ghetto blaster with a three band equalizer and a little casio synthesizer. Since then his curiosity regarding technology and sound has taken him on a journey through diverse investigations into various flavors of sounds and in their creation.

Michael has special place in his heart for creating an atmosphere of exploration; nurturing movement within space in the present moment, through the auditory experience. 

With great honor and appreciation for creators and listeners everywhere Mars shares his humble creations with gratitude.
