A year after ‘The First Milestone’ we can say that Infinite Depth reached its second milestone. Around this milestone a 10-track strong VA is compiled. On this VA there are some of the label’s familiar faces like His. Creator, U S H N U, Klankveld, Alberth and Symmetric. Besides, we are having back Convolute, Altman and bastinov from earlier remix duties. Also, Infinite Depth is welcoming two new talents, Final Request and Dario Gismondi.⁣

After the dancefloor orientated third track, it’s time for the minimalistic approach of U S H N U. In his track ‘Swallow Fly Far Away’, the drums and percussion are flowing their way through the track. Around this some unexpected and interesting one-shot elements are constructed. t’s time to transcend the physical and evaporate into the Realm Of Consciousness as Afterlife unveil the next installment of their influential compilation series. Showcasing the outlet’s diverse output, which is broad yet cohesive, Realm Of Consciousness brings together a range of artists. From more established names such as Joseph Capriati and Patrice Bäumel, to new acts like Beswerda, the compilation continues to build the all-encompassing legacy of Afterlife.

Realm Of Consciousness begins with Colyn & Innellea’s ‘Obnoxious Desire’, a deep sombre opener which gently guides us into an esoteric alternate dimension in sound. From there we’re transported into a life-affirming world where darkness and light are merged, and juxtaposed, co-existing on the same auditory plane. In some instances dark dominates, while in others, it’s the light that acts as a beacon for our expedition into the infinite realm of consciousness. 8Kays has continuously followed her inner call of hunting to new sound landscapes since her music career turned into the "8Kays" chapter. Always inclined to her vision to pursue, 8Kays has released amazing records on renowned Renaissance, Oliver Koletzki's Stil Vor Talent, Yotto's Odd One Out label, as well as great remixes for Berlin-based Booka Shade and Joplyn.
2019 was the year when we had 'Dance Alone' recorded by 8Kays together with Tone Of Arc and released with splendid remixes from Alex Niggemann and Olivier Giacomotto. The world is finally opening the curtains to music, so we can't miss our chance to share such a great EP with you.
'Respect Me' is the title track of this release. It is recorded with Lazarusman: the man of a word, the warrior of a poem. Lazarus is an artist who always brings importance to his works. There is always sense, feeling and message in his words. 'Respect Me' is a protest; it's a manifestation where Lazarusman is explaining his meaning of respect, so you just should listen to it. 8Kays sound design is super detailed in this work: stompy and energetic basslines are a great fit for all the melodic and extra-diverse elements of the track.
French producer Rodriguez Jr. is jumping on 'Respect Me' with his vision. Low electrified sounds with the long-sweeping background alongside the melodic enveloping plus rare and targeted dub-chords create a special remix and which we are very proud to have.
'Young Souls' is the next track of this release. Its hammering mood is recreated with the complex pressure-based bassline and retro synthesizer sounding guitar-like. Additionally, there is Aquarius Heaven on a featuring part.
His meaningful message was recorded during the pandemic peak-time period. It explains it all: the importance of choice, nightlife wandering and life realities we are facing each day.
Aquarius Heaven's vocals are brilliantly harmonized by 8Kays, she gives them a neat and encompassingly completed compositing feeling.
Happy to welcome Denis Horvat to the remix work. We've been big fans of Denis sound. It's extraordinary and unique, but certainly authentic. Therefore we knew the remix is going to be special even before Denis started doing it.
His powerful version gives a full spectrum of moods: detuned sounds, glitchy details and robotized Aquarius vocals are taking us to the breakdown which is worth the wait. Modulizing sounds on the breakdown give a long-awaited unexpected feeling which we are always looking at.
We'll keep on creating more for you, setting no boundaries. As usual.

Argy drops the first of 3 ‘Interior Journey’ remix packs…

What more can be said about Argy’s ‘Interior Journey’ album? The critically acclaimed LP marked his first release in 2 years and confirmed his status as one of the world’s most exciting electronic producers with its diverse sweep, which included the chart-topping, dancefloor-destroyer, ’Ketuvim’.

Now he returns to present the first of 3 very special ‘Interior Journey Remix’ EPs, where he’s invited highly respected artists to take on various tracks, “I had real fun reaching out to producers, both friends and colleagues,” he explains, “the response was incredible; everyone we asked more or less got onboard so the upshot is a portfolio of reinterpretations with real depth and quality. Part 1 is very fitting because it lays down a real statement of what’s to come…”.

We may be biased, but he really isn’t wrong.

First-up is the Italian king of all things indie - Whitesquare, who takes ‘High Priest’, Argy’s collaboration with And.ID and turns it into a perfect summer house anthem. If ever there was a record designed to lift spirits and celebrate the re-opening of our global dance floors, this is undoubtedly it.

Then things take a deeper, but no less dramatic turn with the most excellent Aera, who twists ‘The Third Degree’ into an infectious techno monster. Already the preserve of Solomun’s recent DJ sets, it’s a track that’ll find a favour with a wide spectrum of DJs and dance aficionados as Argy confirms, “both these remixes will hopefully bring joy to dancefloors around the world and I couldn’t be happier with them!”
