The release features two captivating originals and a refined remix by internationally acclaimed melodic house artist Shai T.

The title track, ‘Like First Time Flight,’ captures a sense of emotional lift-off, blending dreamy melodies with deep, flowing rhythms. It’s a beautifully structured piece that feels both introspective and uplifting, a true journey for the senses. ‘Untitled Love Story’ continues the narrative with a more grounded, soulful groove. Subtle textures, crisp percussion, and melodic nuance give the track a timeless quality, bridging the gap between dancefloor energy and emotional storytelling.

Closing the EP, Shai T delivers a striking remix of ‘Like First Time Flight,’ infusing it with his signature sound — deep, immersive, and effortlessly elegant. His interpretation reimagines the original with added momentum and richness, ideal for peak-time sets yet still true to the emotional core of the track.

Subandrio makes a welcome return to the label with an astounding trio of treats. 

The Sri Lankan artist has been at the top of his game for over a decade, and shows no signs of slowing down. Beginning his international journey in 2014 with an EP for Lowbit Records, Subandrio's silky style has lit up dancefloors globally. Now signed to a bewildering array of labels including Vapour, Mango Alley and Juicebox Music, Subandrio has gained years of experience, winning accolades along the way with an unrivalled musical diversity as producer, remixer and performer.

Opening with 'Heritage 82', Warm bass tones and driving percussive underbelly instantly hooks in. Muscular rhythms and ear candy sonics keep you firmly on the dance floor as this epic journey reveals its secrets with patience and class. 

Next up, 'Morph into the Sun' continues apace. Driving rhythms, snappy hats and machine funk melodies all combine effortlessly. Pushing forward to the first break, the track swerves into new territory. Dark sweeps and pulsating melodies draw out the tension before the main break prepares us for the drop. Absolutely flawless. 

Finally, Subandrio rounds the EP out with the suitably named 'Karnage'. Stripped back drums make way for the bubbling acid bass and scratchy FX, and percussive intensity. Very much a late night treat that teases the tension, this is the perfect pre-peak bruiser to get the floor ready for an audio onslaught.

The tenth edition of the Early Morning label stands as both a milestone and a statement of intent. In just a single year, its founder has reshaped the underground dance music landscape with a catalog that redefined the possibilities of the genre. This latest release features two new pieces that together form a tightly woven conceptual work spanning nearly seventeen minutes.

Guy J has built his reputation on reinvention. Each release feels less like a continuation of his past and more like a step into uncharted terrain. On the opening track, Worlds Apart, he fuses an emotive core with intricate sound design and spatial experimentation, leading listeners into liminal states where consciousness and subconsciousness blur. Despite its cerebral qualities, the piece never loses its pulse, the steady momentum that keeps it firmly anchored to the dancefloor.

True to the label’s name, this is music designed for dawn, for moments of release after a long night, for embraces on crowded floors, for the intangible bonds that form through shared experience.

The second track, Surreal, pushes further into abstraction.
