"Your Friend" is a debut single and EP by Thanksmate, a duo from Naples being together for 11 years and founders of cult party Soul Express. Thanks to "It's a Pleasure" they have finally found space to give birth to a record son of a continuous research and constant work in night life. ‘Your Friend’ is a time travel that gathers and releases the whole essence of Thanksmate. From early 2000 cult vocals passing through "European" sounds made of essential dreamy synth drums. A full set of sound combinations that immediately refer to the rave scene. A tribute to a not-too-distant time that has rediscovered today its primordial charm, love for the track and passion for the bass drum.

True Romance continues on fine form in the follow-up to releases from Jozef K, Maxi Meraki and Claus Casper, with a collaborative record born from the studio symbiosis between Alex Virgo and XOYO regular Jack Priest.

'Here We Go Again' then lays a punchy drum break across well-balanced synth work and persistent, circling riffs. Groove and Priest set an organ lead to a distinctly early 90s groove which captures the focus as another typically irresistible True Romance release is bought to a conclusion.

Being involved in many things up north like running the Luna Club, Empore label & the Avidus project we can expect finest hifi audio material with a lot of instruments being played. Speicher 125 is a most auspicious collaboration between two great, inimitable voices in techno: Kompakt co-founder Michael Mayer, and Magazine’s own Barnt. They’ve both been productive of late, Mayer with his “Brainwave Technology” EP in 2021, Barnt with his first release on Kompakt, "ProMetal Fan Decor Only Product" in 2022. Of course, they’re also busy with their respective record labels, and international DJing schedules.

You may already have heard their first track, which appeared on Michael’s "&" album from 2014, the psychedelic “Und Da Stehen Fremde Menschen”. For Speicher, though, they set their sights firmly on the peak time dance floor – the result is two stunning cuts of techno euphoria. 

On “Teller” Barnt and Mayer unleash a synth storm, tense and thrilling. Percussion piles up against the incessant buzz, but before too long we’re submerged in waves of dense texturology, making the track an object lesson in tension and release. “Duration” is a bittersweet anthem about "life long love". A moving voice tells us about "faith in life" while gleaming, synths, choral swarms and snares shower down from above to form an epic tale about duration and devotion.

Weirding the groove and updating the emotions, Speicher 125 is a monster.

Celebrating the great feedback received after their first compilation, Mister T. records gives its Musica Para Bailar / Per Ballare an unofficial new episode with MTT007. The 3 tracks selected in Musik Zum Tanzen are yet a bit more than just a development as they focus on a more modern facet of what we could call rave-influenced italo-house.

The compilation starts with Jakob Mäder’s new track, Morning Sun. The Stuttgart-based artist produced a clear and super emotional house anthem. The tune evolves nicely, following its touching synths and high energy bass. Its name says it all, probably one of the nicest tracks to play at early morning when the sun rises on the dancefloor. The second track is a more complex mix of italo basslines and rave pads & breaks, winking at the great work of influential artists as Skatebard. While we are still waiting for the summer, with “July Nights North of Bergen” Enzio Etchaberri sends us back to an ocean of memories made of endless nights spent dancing till we fall asleep. The EP closes with ValAir, Mister T. records label owner,’s first track on the label. Choir Offense is an interesting mix, focusing first on powerful and organic drums, leading us through the tune. While it could have been just another tool, the track reveals another dimension with its rave stabs giving it a deeper touch in direct line with the two other productions of the EP.

Musik Zum Tanzen really appears as a tribute to high energy italo-house and warehouse / rave aesthetics of dancers being in communion all night under the starlight and the bliss of early sunrises.

DJ T. is a titan of the scene, co-founder of this label, journalist and encyclopedia of electronic music knowledge. From his club-ready singles to his more adventurous and immersive albums via side projects like his Mathami alias, he never stops evolving and helping to define the underground sound of now. He now follows up his last single 'Rapture' on this label back in November with another fresh cut. 

The superb 'Move Your Body' is a bubbling house cut with warm, soft-focus synth patterns rising up through the mix. The paddy drums swing low and roll to catchy effect while filtered vocals add some human soul. A new and pixelated lead takes over later on to really ensure the crowd goes to the next level.
