12 of dance music’s leading lights have been hand-selected by Super Flu to remix ‘Musik 3’ – the German duo’s stand out third album. Each artist has re-imagined varying tracks from ‘Musik 3’ to impressive effect, certain to light up clubs all over the world. 

Hailing from Halle/Saale, Germany, Felix Thielemann and Mathias Schwarz AKA Super Flu are unquestionably one of dance music’s most unique acts. The pair have built up an impressive reputation for their ambitious signature sound which covers everything from classic house to orchestral and has won them respect from music lovers and industry peers alike.

A remarkable culmination of productions, ‘Musik 3’ was an exquisite listening experience that wove listeners through infectious vocals and up-tempo dance-floor cuts. Fully immersing themselves in to each project they’ve embarked on, ‘Musik 3’ is still the perfect presentation of their studio work, providing a different shade of electronic sounds to please each and every electronic music lover. 

‘Musik 3+’ provides a dazzling selection of remixes that add a new, dance floor focused dimension to Super Flu’s highly successful original album and shows not only how well connected the pair are to dance music’s most prominent luminaries but also how prolific the Super Flu boys are (in 2016 alone, the pair played 120 gigs around the globe).

Hailed as one of 'LA's Best Kept Secrets', DAVI translates his childhood passion for music by partnering with Definition to launch their new label which will be more focused on tracks that have a story and that have a specific mood that's not happy or melancholic. Through Delysid, the duo aim to provide platform for fellow artists, friends to showcase similar work and also discover new talent to grow as a family.

Yeah But No from Berlin released their self-titled debut album in November, accompanied by a couple of singles and EPs. After touring on their own and as support for Sylvan Esso and Zoot Woman, another extensive tour segment is due to begin in the May 2018.

Merging electronic music with classic song structures into a smart and captivating listening enjoyment. That's Yeah But No's objective. The duo from Berlin is comprised of techno producer Douglas Greed and singer Fabian Kuss. The former made a name for himself in the techno scene and recently released an album together with Mooryc with their mutual project Eating Snow. 

The two get to know each other four years ago when Greed was looking for a singer for his tracks. Tasteful success label Freude am Tanzen releases his music during that time and he tours through Europe, plays in Mexico and Australia. In Fabian Kuss he finds the matching counterpart. Not only has he studied voice but also stood on stages all across the country and explored musical styles from jazz to funk and pop with his bands. 

Now Yeah But No announce the release of "Remixes I", one of two EPs containing contributions by friends made along the way, and artists Yeah But No became friends and fans of. Karmon (Diynamic), Daniel Brandt (Erased Tapes, Brandt Brauer Frick etc.), Marc Holstege (Stil vor Talent), Panthera Krause (Uncanny Valley, Riotvan, ORS etc.), and Mudaze (Beast Entertainment) promise a good round of tasteful listening pleasure.

Yeah But No are currently working on the tracks of their second album, which will be released in November 2018

Coming from Medelin, Colombia, are duo Lies & Truths. We welcome the pair with a three-track EP, set for some peak time madness of Afro-Tech flavoured house. It’s an EP filled with current dancefloor friendly experimental sounds. It brings together evolving bass-lines, scintillating riffs and slick synth licks with haunting thrills coating the surface. The EP features a collaboration with artist Maxikool, with previous works together on Little Helpers.

Also Spanish act EdOne (Stil Vor Talent, Selador) goes much deeper of his colleagues on his mix, diving the original idea into his own and very mesmerizing remake. Singer, producer and multi-instrumentalist Alexander Sjödin proves his virtuosities once more under his well known Sailor & I moniker on his fresh take on electronica, the Lost in this Civilized World EP.

Opener Coming Down is a quintessential piece of dreamy electronica, radiating an ethereal atmosphere largely summoned by the artists recognizable crooning vocals. The soulful melody and evocative synths add a touch of extra sonic magic, rounding off the instrumental.

Black Monday showcases Sjödins piano mastery, as a yearning melodic loop sets the stage. Filled with suspense and tension via gleaming synths, the track leads to an intense and dramatic breakdown that leaves a lasting impression.
Melancholy-driven piano is key on Isolated Tears, a pensive downtempo composition that touches on the artists classical side, bridging it into modern day electronica with playful glitches and subtle percussion.

Kellerkind takes on Coming Down, amping up the dance factor with an energetic, standout bassline that contorts underneath bleeps and chimes, emphasising Sailor & Is croons.

Coming Down gets another remix treatment by Deorbiting, who serve up a spaced out, glitched version of the original with a suspenseful breakdown and energy-inducing sequences.

Roy returns (triumphantly) to our lovely little label. And what a return it is. The reactions to both „Rumbala“ and „Megakraft“ have been immense. Just try to keep your dance floors hands down. Well, we must admit it is more a single hand in the air after the break kind of deal (think Italians at parties in Ibiza) but a hand none the less. Seriously though, these tunes are going to be heard all summer long. On the flip side of the mp3 are two more wistful house music lullaby's. Don't miss them either as the moods they conjure are magical.
