Correspondants 28th release, Polina, delivers another brooding, evocative EP for the label, this time from the Agents of Time polyhedron: a fusion of ideas and concepts that make up a single reality. The Italian trio of Andrea Di Ceglie, Fedele Ladisa, and Luigi Tutolo came together in the summer of 2013, and their inaugural album was released via Stem Records in January of the following year. The group uses both analog and digital equipment to refine their unique amalgam of progressive, techno, and ambient music.

Its the modern times which makes it happen when you never met each other, but now you have a common release. Thats the story how Rafael Cerato and Marc DePulse met. Simply chatting about music and kidding: 'Why dont we make some music together?'. Exchanging ideas, project files and inspiration. And its quite the middle of both artists qualitys: Marcs melancholic harmonies, Rafaels peaktime beats. 

So 'AGORA' was born as the first of totally 5 tracks both guys produced together. Two interpretations wanted, the guys invited Denmarks rising star PETE OAK and Germanys newcomer HIDDEN EMPIRE who both did it their way. And they did it really fantastic!

Sink your ears into the latest release from Steyoyoke Black's eclectic collection of soul-searching electronic numbers: a four-piece EP from the masterful Brazilian electronic duo, Binaryh. Fittingly titled ‘Positive Negative’, the EP ranges from emotional moments of sensitivity and realness to raw glimpses of energy and drive. What results is the perfect balance of calm and chaos, love and rage, positive and negative.

The first track ‘One Digit’ begins with slow and calculated rhythmic tension, which persists over a slightly dissonant melody and builds to an epic crescendo. The heat and intensity of this song is balanced in track two with an extended and slightly more airy introduction, which converts gradually into the insistent release of angst and disruption.

Track three, ‘Consilium’, rises gracefully from the ashes of the previous numbers, providing a fresh perspective, a redeeming moment of clarity and curiosity infused with a desire for more. The extended cut lingers luxuriously on the transition from hard to soft, allowing the listener to get lost in this inviting dream world before being propelled forward into the unknown.

The impact of the EP as a whole is an emotional journey inward through the human psyche. A battle of the self, encapsulating all the conflicting aspects of emotion and struggle, translated into an intuitive and unvarnished piece of art.

Exclusive Fiberroot 'Roccodrilo (Shall Ocin Remix)'

Clash Lion Records, run by Terr, Shall Ocin and Daniel Watts, is ready to release Fiberroot's EP 'Tierra'. The three tracker comes with two originals, 'Con Licencia Sibonei' and 'Roccodrillo', and Shall Ocin's majestic remix of the latter. The Argentinian DJ and producer, who has released on labels such as Bpitch Control, Ellum or Last Night On Earth, delivers a stomping techno take, which is built around twirling synth sounds with the potential of creating mental dance floor experiences. As Shall Ocin's take on 'Roccodrillo' proceeds the artist shifts his focus on sounds and exchanges the twirling synth with more calm synth chords giving the listener and dancer the opportunity to digest the aforementioned mental musical rollercoaster ride. 

Fiberroots's EP 'Tierra' will be released September 7th, 2018 on Clash Lion.

Over the years, Berlin has been cited as Oliver Koletzki's main point of reference and, more importantly, his endless source of inspiration. His albums Großstadtmärchen and Großstadtmärchen 2 are wholehearted tributes of the German capital, as its importance is continuously hinted and charted. Friedrichshain, one of Berlin's vibrant districts, has always held a special place in Oliver's heart. This is where he started out when he first moved to the city, and this is where he lives now. Kreuzberg's wall paintings adorn Stil Vor Talent s cover sleeves and host their headquarters. There are little to no corners in the city that haven't brought a spark of inspiration into the mix. The Schneeweiss compilation series, now at its 11th installment, is built as a form of tribute to all these particles, tied in together into a series of carefully curated tracks. Each compilation stands at the intersection of the musical and cultural surroundings most prominent of their respective times, acting both as a reminder as well as a timeless sound capsule for the years to come.

Embracing electronic music’s poignant zest, The Journey are delivering studio output supported by pioneers and humble music enthusiasts equally.

Built to keep dance-floor hearts full, the Melbourne based duo have knelt to electronic devotees on one knee, gracing stages at the iconic Rainbow Serpent Festival, Pitch Music & Arts, Subsonic and Strawberry Fields Festival, while having cemented solid tours throughout Europe in 2018 & 2019 and again in 2022.  Delivering ammunition for festival, club and afterparty, The Journey have earned themselves a place on some of the world’s finest labels such as Stil Vor Talent, Bedrock & Einmusika whilst also being remixed by some of the industries elite in Bebetta, Tim Engelhardt, PARIS, CIOZ, Re.you, Rafael Cerato and Florian Kruse, the list goes on.  The Journey have added their own flavour to a number of world class artists, remixing the likes of Super Flu, Bebetta, Betoko, Sharam Jay, Luke Chable and Quench’s 1993 anthem, ‘Dreams’.

Their remix for singer-songwriter Running Touch on ‘My Hands’ acquired a well-deserved spot on the 2019 Ministry of Sound Annual.  The Journey also attracted prodigious recognition after remixing the iconic ‘Treaty’ by Yothu Yindi resulting in them being nominated for The Age’s Music Victoria Electronic Artist of The Year alongside Dom Dolla, Client Liaison, Harvey Sutherland and KLLO.  Their original works, collaborations and remixes have amassed three ARIA Club Chart #1’s, and a handful of Beatport top 10’s in their respective genres whilst being played and supported by the biggest names in the industry.

The road ahead derives inspiration from the last year’s vibrant success - musically on some of the world’s most celebrated record labels, amidst stacking shows across the Australian summer and looking ahead will be no doubt entering new territories.
