Mila Stern’s far over a decade-long career as a DJ and producer has taken her from squat parties in Halle (eastern Germany), where she first learned her craft, through the pulsing motley of Tel Aviv, to her adopted home of Berlin and the epicenter of electronic club culture. Her calm, commanding skill as a selector rapidly made her a sought-after artist, with regular appearances at premier festivals like Fusion, Nation of Gondwana, and Garbicz, and residencies at Berlin’s legendary Kater Club and Station Endlos in Halle. Since then, she’s transcended the boundaries of the Berlin underground, bringing her signature style to the international circuit from Mexico to Kazakhstan. Mila delivers a groove-heavy aesthetic that has recently shifted toward deeper, more focused energies — drawing on restrained propulsion, textured sound design, and subtly evolving rhythms. Her selections now balance minimalism and intensity, rooted in the hypnotic but never stuck in genre constraints. What sets her apart is a willingness to embrace unorthodox sonic spaces, explore the beauty in harshness and dissonance, and embed arresting moments in robust, rolling substructures. From her early days, Mila’s sound has been shaped by a sense of counterculture and the urge to break normative boundaries. Her DJ sets — especially long-form closings — encapsulate a vision of rave culture as expressive, eclectic, and non-judgmental. She continues to draw on risqué, narrative-driven tracks and boldly carves out new territory without compromise — even as the context around her evolves. As a DJ, producer, event organizer, former radio host, and label co-founder, she pushes the envelope while rejecting genre dogma. In 2025, Mila co-founded the label MiZi MuZiK with long-time friend and collaborator Mira—a platform shaped by their shared values of autonomy and artistic integrity. While the label and Mila’s current musical direction follow distinct paths, both are rooted in a deep belief in sound that speaks for itself. Few artists balance deep floor energy with such artistic clarity. Mila Stern continues to evolve her sound while remaining grounded in a rave ethos that challenges paradigms and makes space for what lies ahead.

"I recorded this mix ahead of my set at Detect Classic Festival 2025, and it’s a good snapshot of where I’m at musically right now. It’s deep, hypnotic, groove-driven — somewhere between movement and atmosphere. Even though it’s a podcast, these are all tracks I’d absolutely play in a club or at a festival. They just have that extra layer that works in both contexts: headphones and dance floors. Artists like Donato Dozzy, Maōh, Inox Traxx, Blazej Malinowski, Rene Wise... — stuff that builds tension, holds a pulse, and doesn’t rush to get anywhere too fast. The uniqueness of what Far&High project does can be described as follows: imagine a track that Solomun, Fisher, Vintage Culture, Dom Dolla, Tale of Us, Blond:ish, Nick Warren, Super Flu can play in their sets. It sounds unrealistic, but Far&High made a track like this. Emerging on the global electronic scene in late 2019, the Far&High project has made a big impact on today's Indie Dance scene from its first tracks. Solomun not only released the project's first release on his label Diynamic, but also named them subsequently as one of the most important electronic projects of their country. All of the tracks released by Far&High made it to the Beatport top-100, which allowed the project to hit the Best Sellers category 4 years in a row starting in 2020. The lead track from their first release on Diynamic, Alone, stayed in the top for over two years in a row. In late 2022, Far&High releases their track, Sans Vetements, which instantly climbs to the very top of Beatport and remains at the top even in 2024. The lead track from their second release on Diynamic Mannequin stayed in the chart for over 210 days, while their collab track with Brigado Crew - 7 - for the album on the Stil Vor Talent label - stayed at the top for over 320 consecutive days. Each of their tracks is a new challenge and a desire to show a slightly different sound, different from what has been done before, while keeping the recognizable imprint of the author. This has always given Far&High a huge support not only among ordinary listeners but also from professionals and very famous DJs. For 4 years of its existence Far&High project has played more than 300 Dj sets in more than 20 countries around the world. More than 25 years of experience on stage allows them to be truly unique DJs with their own special taste and approach to working with the audience.

It’s Agoria’s first solo release in more than a year and each of the directories (sound tools) have been featured at the Philippe Parreno exhibition at Turbine Hall / Tate Modern during the past 6 months. Part of the exhibition's sound design has been created by Nicolas Becker who included the directories, him and Agoria are friends and have collaborated in 2015 on his Independence EP: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R2aQEqXzxvQ - Nicolas Becker who was one of the many collaborators for the sound design of the exhibition is an award winning sound designer of Hollywood movies like Gravity and The Arrival.

Exclusive V 'La Nouvelle Epoque (Fred und Luna Remix)'

After premiering Fred und Luna's remix for Peter Pardeike's 'Love Supreme' back in September the Karlsruhe based musician is back with another remix, this for the mysterious artist V and his track 'La Nouvelle Epoque' on Le Temps Perdu. But what truly connects the previous Fred und Luna's remix and his current one is the story behind it. 

Before Rainer Buchmüller, how close friends call Fred und Luna, could work his 'Kraut-Skills' on Peter Pardeike's remix as well as on V's he had to overcome the burden of facing a completely crashed computer. But of course Rainer came up with a solution. The Karlsruhe resident jumped onto the next train to Berlin to meet up with his friend Achim Treu alias UFO Hawaii, who bailed Rainer out of this misery and helped him set up the remixes. And e voila here is the second one that was produced during Rainer's short visit in Berlin.

V's EP 'La Nouvelle Epoque' was released on Le Temps Perdu November 24th, 2017.
