Jansons (@jansonsmusic) is a name who has been operating just under the surface for many years, engineering for artists releasing on some of the most highly regarded labels in the scene including; Hot Creations, Leftroom, Hotflush, Madtech and Moda Black.

In 2016 Jansons is set to focus on releasing as an artist in his own right, and we are very proud to present his debut EP on VIVa MUSiC. Expect big things from Jansons this year, including a forthcoming collaboration with Richy Ahmed. 

“Brushing off my old vinyl collection and hearing so many great records from the past really inspired me for this release. I’ve built up a nice collection of analogue studio equipment over the years, which I love to use in my productions. Synths, such as the SH-101, feature heavily on this EP for ViVa MUSiC" - Jansons

Jansons has previously gained support for his original material from the likes of; Steve Lawler, Richy Ahmed, Breach, Carl Cox, Solomun, DJ T, Mark Jenkyns, Dusky and Tensnake.

After marking 2015 with a stand out debut Essential Mix on BBC Radio 1, our final offering is from exciting newcomer Jonas Rathsman with ‘Cobalt’ — a slick and propulsive track with staccato bass, driving beats and lots of turbulent late night synths that really get your attention.

Liverpool born Tech House maestro Kydus drops his second release on Toolroom Trax in the shape of ‘Acid Vibes’. An infectious, funky and rolling tech house track that has been championed by none other than Eats Everything and is already set to be one of the big Ibiza tunes this Summer.
