From Macedonia to Atlanta, Bobi Stevkovski, is the clear example of these artists, who have musicality in their blood; appearing around the 2000's in his native country, showing his talent in clubs and bars of Macedonia.
Shortly after he moved to the United States, more exactly to Atlanta GA. There, he developed his talent even more and became a reference for underground music.
Founder of Project B, event promoter that provides a platform for local artists and that in its trajectory includes international artists such as Arapu, Alci, Sepp, Mihigh, Raresh, Direkt, Crihan, Mihai Pol, Varhat, Janeret, Nu Zau among others. Project b, has been the catapult for their festival ZEMYA, a festival that revolves around the connection with nature, with the earth.

Rigopolar is a Mexican electronic music producer celebrated for his unique blend of analog synths, arpeggios, and cosmic imagery, crafting an immersive auditory experience that prompts deep reflections on existence and the universe. Born and raised in Ensenada, Baja California, Rigopolar moved to Mexico City at 22, where he refined his craft for 13 years before moving to LA, New York, and ultimately settling in Miami.

His music weaves together the sounds of italo disco and techno with analog storytelling, leading listeners on a mental odyssey through time and space. This distinctive style has enthralled audiences and led to performances at various clubs and festivals worldwide. 

In 2022, Rigopolar launched his label 'Tour de Infinite,' debuting with the "Inversus Totalis EP," and followed by the "Situs EP" in 2023. His original productions and remixes have received support from notable artists such as Solomun, WhoMadeWho, Maceo Plex, Hernan Cattaneo, Be Svendsen, Thomas Koch (DJ T), Skatebard, Doctor Dru, Terr, Curses, and Massimiliano Pagliara, significantly impacting dancefloors around the globe.

Sirens Podcast 023: Rigopolar

I recorded this mix at Summer Contrast, on Saturday from 10 PM to midnight at the Tribes Stage.
Two hours full of groove, hypnosis and tribal energy. The set included tracks from Barac, Ben Kaczor, Ben Rau, Cassy & Chris Carrier, Chris Geschwindner, DVS1, East End Dubs, Mood II Swing, Prime Minister of Doom, Sakro, Youandewan.

The last track was special. I had been holding it in my collection for a long time, waiting for the right moment. A special remix of Twin Peaks, played in tribute to David Lynch, who passed away this year. I knew I had to do it here.

This set is also an answer to those who sometimes ask me what direction I’m heading. It’s not only minimal – even though that’s where I started back in 2005–2006, before realizing that music didn’t quite fit Krakow’s dance floors at the time. Now I return to it consciously, mixing house, 90s echoes, tech house and Romanian minimal into one tribal pulse.

This is my language. And this is how I want to play.

Today we have a guest who is a busy artist and much more than just a DJ and producer. Thomas Carmody is not only the label manager of the well-known dub techno label https://soundcloud.com/spclnch, but also the head of https://soundcloud.com/chippychasers The latter is much more than just a house label, however. It is also a record shop in The Hague. Incidentally, Thomas leads the art direction together with a small team (illustrator and script writer). Together they are responsible for the truly unique layout of both labels, as well as their covers, including the new stories and experiences of the two main protagonists of spclnch and Chippy Chasers. These are actually two different comic series. In each new release, the stories of the main protagonists are continued in an illustrative manner. Not without reason an article in FAZEmag was dedicated to him and his label spclnch. 

In his exclusive mix for us, he has thrown some of his favourite gems from Chippy Chasers into one pot and created a cool house leaning after-hours session that really suits any time of day. At times, the mix becomes a little more danceable and engaging. Then it becomes more dreamy and lulling. All in all, it's a really great mix that strikes the perfect balance between tension and relaxation.

✘ What is your musical background?
I produced mostly dub-techno up until 2020, then shifted focus to running two labels — spclnch (Spacelunch) and Chippy Chasers — and the Chippy Chasers Record Store in The Hague, where I'm the founder, curator, and creative producer. I handle A&R, concept and art direction, shaping releases (digital and vinyl), artist relations, and the day-to-day growth of both the labels and the shop.
My taste is broad across genres; what matters is the feel — the movement and emotion — more than the tag on the record. Formative references include Fingers In The Noise (we later collaborated on remixes for Spacelunch) and Sebastian Mullaert, whose deep-techno/ambient sensibility shaped how I think about space, pace, and patience. Frivolous also had a big impact — especially Meteorology, which pushed me toward a more conceptual, colorful approach to sound. We reissued that album together on Chippy Chasers recently as a double LP.
In the last few years I've been deeply immersed in minimal house: stylish, loop-driven, light, and unburdened. It's deceptively hard to produce — a loop that can carry 8–10 minutes with micro-shifts and no dead weight. That challenge is exactly why I love it, and a big part of my work at Chippy Chasers (and in the record store) is to champion this sound. Recent touchpoints: Alex Font and the Acme orbit; Vadim Oslov for endlessly listenable, elegantly reduced loops; and Loopdeville, who fuses minimal house with hip-hop fragments, vocal chops, and broken rhythms in a raw, underground way. Label-wise, Purple Print has been consistently strong; Perceive Records, too — even if it's been quieter lately.

✘ Any thoughts you'd like to share about your set?
It's a straight-through Chippy Chasers label showcase — dance-floor minimal house and house with touches of deep-tech and dub-tech. It moves from the first bar and keeps that energy without theatrics: clean grooves, small details. I close with a gentler piece that works like an outro — a soft way to step out.

Butane and Riko Forinson return to Extrasketch with 'Still Buzzing', a five-track journey through the duo’s signature blend of deep, funky, and left-of-center grooves. Opening cut 'Undercurrent' fuses dub-soaked textures with rolling afro-percussion, setting the post-party mood into hypnotic motion. Disbelief follows in a haze: resonant and restrained, dreamy minimal house that flows flawlessly. Warped Intentions twists pitch-bent synths and shuffling percussion into a sly, funky workout as the restless mind refuses to be still. Finally, Butane’s two remixes push the concept full circle: one stripping things back to pure groove, the other turning up the tension for late-night floor damage. Equal parts heady and playful, 'Still Buzzing' captures the restless hum at the heart of the night’s lingering glow.
