Linda Renaud is an internationally renowned journalist, author, filmmaker, television producer, editorial consultant, and more.  She is an alumni of the first graduating class in the Communication Arts program in 1970 from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec; at the time, it was the first department of its kind in Canada.
Linda continues to publish her journalism works. She is the current President of the Montreal Press Club, and established the Los Angeles Press Club while living there from 1976 until 2011. Linda currently works as mentor/ advisor to students working at the four student newspapers at McGill University, and to those who study journalism at Concordia University.

Elisabeth-Ann Gimber is a renowned producer based in Montreal, Quebec.  She graduated with a B.A. in Communications Studies from Concordia University (Montreal) in 1984, and has a noteworthy career in the worlds of fiction, non-fiction and documentary television, film, video, and Imax.
Elisabeth-Ann is the proud mother of one adopted son, and has wonderfully fostered three children. 
She will be starting her next IMAX project in August, 2016.

Where Have You Been? with Elisabeth-Ann Gimber

Andrea-Jane Cornell is a sound and music artist based in Louisville, KY, originally from Montreal, Quebec. She graduated with a B.A. (2004) in Communication Studies and an M.A. in Media Studies (2009)with a specialization in Sound from Concordia University in Montreal. Here in conversation, she speaks about her sound practice.  
While she pursued her M.A., Andrea-Jane was the superlative Music Department Coordinator and on-air programmer at the mighty freeform radio station CKUT 90.3 FM for six years. More recently, she was a coordinator/ facilitator and so much more at Galerie Oboro, Montreal's landmark centre for visual and media arts, performing arts, new technologies, innovation and emerging practices.  
Andrea-Jane is an actively performing sound artist, and one-half of musical duo Le Fruit Vert, whose stunning sounds accompany this podcast series.  She has just released "Too Significant To Ignore" in collaboration with Tim Darcy on NNA Tapes, and will be performing at Radio Revolten Internationales Radiokunst-Festival in Germany in October, 2016.

Where Have You Been? with Andrea-Jane Cornell

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Concordia University’s ground-breaking Communication Studies/ Communication Arts department, “Where Have You Been?” is a series of interviews with female graduates from this uniquely evolving program of study and production. 

Alumni Linda Renaud (B.A. 1970), Elisabeth-Ann Gimber (B.A. 1984), and Andrea-Jane Cornell (B.A. 2004, M.A. 2009) each give a first-hand account of living and working in overlapping eras of media-making and technology, as well as where their creativity, curiosity and hard work have taken them.
