PREMIERE – Azole – Pulpa (Endrik Schroeder ‘Driving to Heaven’ Remix) (Where were we?)

She couldn't recall a sunset so breathtaking; shades of purple, red, gold and orange seared through the sky, burning hot like the embers of a fire. It framed the desert, making the landscape feel a little less expansive and sprawling than it really was. This place was truly magical, it were as though the scenery was for her eyes only, a secret that nobody else was allowed to know.

Lithuania's Where Were We? are following up their last release from Azole with a stellar remix release. The duo's EP, Mr. Sutherland - a titular tip of the hat to the Australian keys maestro - was packed full of bouncy Italo jams and funky grooves, which get driven into more interstellar realms on this new package. All adept at manoeuvring in cosmic worlds, alongside alternate takes from Endrik Schroeder and Ivan Fabra, the label bring on board regular remixers Black Feeling and Romain Fx, who takes us on a joy ride through the desert with his "Valley of The Moon" remix.

Retaining the label's staple remixers Romain Fx and Black Feeling, WWW is introducing 2 well-seasoned producers to the roster.
Both Endrik Schroeder and Ivan Fabra are not new names in the game and both have a string of very well-received releases under the belt of proper labels. 

Both Endrik and Ivan are delivering their own signature sound and we're sure that their skillful work on the original tracks will transport you to outer space.

This is the set I played last Friday (20 07 2018) at Open Kitchen Vilnius. It was around 30 C, I was surrounded by the best food trucks in town, happy faces and glorious sunshine. This took place in Tymo turgus (a square/bazaar) which is in Vilnius Oldtown/Uzupis hood. It was around 5 pm. People were flocking there after their week's work in the offices were done. They were ready to meet and greet the weekend with open arms, hearts and stomachs. : )
 
I tried to welcome them with roughly 75 minutes long journey into downtempo, balearic beats and and laid-back melodies. 

I hope you will dig it and enjoy this one in the sun! ; )

My friendship with @claptrap_clptrp's co-owner Matt aka @van1ty_project continues. I had a chance to premiere one of their tracks already, so I'm really happy that Matt was kind enough to let me premiere the title track from the brand new release that he made himself and which is titled "Big Pharma".

All around great EP, pure quality stuff. Somehow I enjoyed the A1 track the most. Really like it's uptempo vibe and the energy it carries. I can well imagine dropping this one in the heat of the night and dancefloor just exploding to pieces. Absolutely proper late-night weapon this one. 

Increase the volume on your stereos and enjoy the ride into interstellar space! ;)
