La búsqueda de esta nueva faceta viene de un instinto casi natural, una “demanda biológica”, que es al mismo tiempo el tema de análisis de este EP.
Incluso cuando en este EP hay algunos temas de corte ambient, Bluecommand confiesa que su alternativa para buscar un nuevo camino sonoro fue la “ansiedad” que le provocó dicha demanda biológica/fisológica para expandir su catálogo musical."

A lo largo de los años los hermanos vigueses Yugen Kala, han desarrollado un sonido dificil de clasificar. En 2020 se publicó su álbum debut "Nothing Is Original", tras su lanzamiento recorrieron festivales tan reconocidos como el Sónar, Mutek o WOS, además de radios tales como HÖR, Kiosk o Redlight Radio.

En este mix continúan demostrando su interés por los sonidos más periféricos, escapando de adjetivos calificativos. Un viaje de 1 hora que juega con contrastes, emociones complejas y un dinamismo constante, dando volantazos a diestro y siniestro entre la electrónica más emocional y la más maquínica, los sonidos más distorsionados y los más limpios, los ritmos más efectivos y los más destructivos. Un intento de encontrar el orden dentro del caos.

Yugen Kala, comprised of two brothers from Vigo, have developed their own sound difficult to categorise over the years. in 2020 their debut album “Nothing Is Original” was released, after which they appeared at the festivals Sónar, Mutek, and Wos, and on HÖR, Kiosk, and Redlight radios.

in this mix, their love for sounds that sit on the periphery is evident, through a one hour journey that toys with contrasts, complex emotions, and maintains a constant energy throughout. expect sharp turns through electronic sounds that are more emotive, whilst others more mechanical; more distorted and more crisp; more precise and more disruptive. amongst all this is an attempt to find order within chaos.

Operating in the sphere of Latinx electronics, mutant dembow and dark club music, Delia Beatriz aka Debit is a master of creating late-night, glitchy and often beat-less music that sounds at once alien and familiar. The New York-based, Mexico-born producer has become a regular face on consistently strong Mexican label NAAFI, while also recently appearing on Houndstooth compilation 'Alterity'. Her 2019 'System' EP was a highlight, channelling the triplet tribal guarachero (a style of dance music fused with patterns of regional Mexican music) of Monterrey, the city she was born in. Following a feature slot on Gaika's recent 'Seguridad' mixtape, Debit has just cropped up on the recent 'Discos en 3​/​Cuartos' compilation from Kebrada, the new label from Dengue Dengue Dengue. The compilation focuses on the new wave of Latin diaspora producers and creatives building fresh inroads into contemporary dance culture, with artist like Nick Leon and DJ Python also contributing tracks. Debit's Dummy Mix is a blend of reggaeton with the tempo pushed right down, sludgy ambient and sugary dancehall riddims, sitting alongside slamming techno, packed with twists and turns.
