Ranging from the University of Toronto Electronic Music Studio's dusty musique concréte, through the Fluxus-like ranting of London's Nihilist Spasm Band, up to the pastoral wilderness aura of  Huntsville's Beverly Glenn-Copeland, this mix is crafted as an informal informative; a Northern analogue to the parallel
 psychedelic musings of the time.
