tune number 4.... whysp and underscores collab? u heard that right. this tune is really quite a treat. amazing to hear the mix of each of their styles blended together. same goes with the Player Dave collab coming tomorrow ;) don't go too far.

jack cates is a producer I feel is way ahead of the style trend in the lofi hiphop scene. His drum selection primarily is what catches me the most. Usually the drums are soft and sweet and mixed tightly under the mix for atmosphere but in his music it's hard heavy and knocking over a beautiful delicate melody that makes you feel heavy real feelings like the depth of sadness if the song is sad or the intensiity of happiness when the song is happy. I love the way he contrasts his sounds, that being said; This song is quite different from his lofi material in that it's a bit more experimental but still holds true to the jack cates sound! Love this tune and I hope you do as well!
