Pole Folder, Aethon & Jinadu join Labyrinth with ‘The Great Beyond’. Remix support comes from Fur Coat and Armonica.
Belgian electronic pioneer, Pole Folder needs little introduction. A former protégée of the UK legend and Bedrock boss, John Digweed, Pole Folder broke onto the scene in 2001 and has since evolved into a multi-instrumentalist and live performer showcasing an exciting and unique brand of melodic house and techno. Signed to Global Underground, Renaissance and the aforementioned bedrock, Pole Folder exudes a timeless class in everything he makes.
Munich-based Aethon is the Deep-House/Ethereal-Techno alias of DJ/Producer and Modular Synth enthusiast Christian Schnall. Socialised and influenced by the alternative music of the ‘90s, he combines the melancholic teen spirit with the electronic sound of today.

The single features the vocals from highly sought-after vocalist Jinadu. With collaborations to date with Black Coffee, Hot Since 82, Eli Brown, Jamie Jones ad Dixon. He is also known as one half of The Beauty Room, a luscious, 70’s Americana inspired project that employed the skills of Grammy award winning engineer Peter Henderson (Supertramp) and string arranger Paul Buckmaster (David Bowie, Elton John) to great effect.
In original form, deep kicks and a rubbery low end form the bedrock on which sparse percussion and bright and airy synths work their magic. Jinadu’s ethereal vocals add to the air of mysticism which becomes a maelstrom of melancholy energy. A real meeting of minds with far-reaching creative potential. On remix duties, Fur Coat goes deep and musical creating a deeply hypnotic version, while Armonica slows the tempo and toughens the low-end grit with a haunting Reese bass. The release also features an ambient reimagination and shortened radio cut.

The latest edition of our free download series welcomes Wurtz and Iberian Muse for their first appearance. Having worked together previously for releases on Be Free Recordings, DnC Limited and Three Hands Records, the trio’s studio synergy has been on the rise across 2019. Having provided fans with many memorable dance floor moments, unquestionably their most sought after track this past year has been an Edit of Florence & The Machine’s hugely popular ‘Jenny Of Oldstones’. The Original version was first aired as part of Season 8 of ‘Game of Thrones’, which Wurtz and Iberian Muse took to reworking shortly thereafter. "Released at the end of 2018, the first in Erdi Irmak's "Hidden Arcadia" showcased a quartet of sparkling original productions. As Proton Music returns to the series, "Hidden Arcadia, Vol. 2" combines a trio of new tracks with stunning remixes from German and Greek artists.

An artist with a strong tie to Proton Music saw July 2014's "You in Me" EP lighting a path for "Night" a year later, before "Hidden Arcadia" shot Erdi Irmak to global notoriety in 2018. Now continuing the successful series, "Falling down" immediately delights as a stripped-back beat and rich bass paves the way for a glissando lead line to wend its way across the mid-range. [...]

A talented multi-instrumentalist and music producer of global renown, Rauschhaus has found his music allied to some of the finest underground dance imprints that include Steyoyoke, Einmusika and Traum. October 2018's "Opal" saw a sparkling original debut on Proton Music as the German artist follows up on a rerub of Michael A with another remix for the label.
Holding its audio cues from "Vol. 1", the Rauschhaus remix takes "Owl" on a new flight of fantasy that explores original components while extending them with a plethora of additional production material. A new sustained analogue bassline gradually opens up in the second half, adding to the cadenced motif already in place and a rich arpeggio supplies a new hypnotic narrative. The result is an innovative remix with the beating heart of Erdi Irmak's "Owl".

Born in the US house music capital, Savvas' move from Chicago to Greece has seen him carve out an impressive career as DJ and producer. His music signed to such leading imprints as Anjunadeep, Nie Wider Schlafen and Motek Music, a trio of appearances on Particles including the beautiful "Mindfulness" on the "Winter 2019" compilation, now sees him join the Proton Music ranks. .
