This time we decided that this edition would take the form of a wonderful release, and in addition to its original, we hired two remixers who did a fantastic job re-interpreting “Mirianna”. You’ve already had a chance to hear and see both artists on our label, we won’t spend a lot of words on them, just fascinating lately, EMPHI and Chihaka!

From a home on the Madeira archipelago, Li-Polymer been a regular on the underground dance industry's imprints for over a decade through music signed to the likes of Balkan Connection, Lowbit and Juicebox Music. A 2014 debut for Particles saw a remix of Matt Rowan followed by a series of original releases on the label's seasonal compilation series before May 2017's "Crystal Serenity" marked a notable highlight. Returning with another twin-track original offering, "Jacaranda" is a rich flowing piece that blossoms through its delicate melodic phrasing that drifts in sultry fashion while a sumptuous delayed motif and uptempo arp add counterpoint joy. A deep kick and light percussive vibe trip across the 9-minute piece with ease in a joyous offering. At over 10-minutes, "All Together We Are More" is redolent in opulent soundscapes that hold sway over muted kick and hi-hat pattern. Evolving gently through subtle melodic variation, textured pads drift across the track as a swathe of phrases entwine before a delayed motif makes its play in the third movement. The result is a compelling piece from the Portuguese artist.

Fresh from remixes of their outstanding "Stoyote" EP on Proton Music, the relatively new musical partnership of LADS & Traumhouse find themselves making their Particles debut. Regulars on such esteemed labels as Rebellion der Tarumer, Nie Wieder Schlafen and Guy J's Lost & Found, the LADS partnership has grown in stature over the past 18 months. Regulars on Proton Music with an array of original music, "Stoyote" was another landmark moment in 2020 which included a collaboration from Traumhouse. Joining forces with the German artist who has featured on the likes of Magician On Duty, A Must Have and Manual Music, the LADS & Traumhouse reworking of "Jacaranda" is a sumptuous offering that revels in low-slung groove and filtered percussive roll. Characterised by a dark and gritty groove with its roots in the original, intelligent use of remix components from the Li-Polymer track blend seamlessly with a swathe of original material from the production trio. The result is a stunning remix that hits its stride in the second half with detuned synth motifs and cascading sonic tapestry.

Another Proton Music regular, Hot TuneiK has created a stir with a new organic sound that witnessed the birth of his "Heightened Senses" EP in February 2020. With Vol. 2 on the horizon in 2021, the Mexican's unique sound has been a favourite on a growing number of labels that include the likes of Balkan Connection, 3rd Avenue and Visceral. Finding an array of releases on Particles that include 2017's "Erase & Rewind" and 2018's "Tulum", Hot TuneiK now returns to the label for the first time since an August 2020 remix of Vidno. Reworking "Jacaranda", the melodic subtlety of the original is retained while a purposeful rhythmic backdrop provides a unique new direction through tape delays and percussive edge. Hitting its stride with an array of new production material that includes a meandering lead synth line and pulsating bassline in the second half, Hot TuneiK showcases talent in abundance.

As Li-Polymer's craftsmanship comes to the fore once more, "Jacaranda" blossoms alongside remixes from LADS, Traumhouse and Hot TuneiK.

We are very proud to present a beautiful release completed with three great songs, by French music producer Vauban, called "Endorphine"!
Vauban grew up in France in a family of classical musicians. He spent most of his summers on a French remote island built by the famous architect Vauban. That’s where his interest for organic music and architecture came together. He started as a DJ when he was 15 and his style evolved immensely when he started traveling the world in his 20s
He know follows the sun and lives as a nomad between Tulum, Ibiza, Berlin and Paris.

Successful artists in their own rights, Mariner + Domingo are a new artistic pairing to grace the Particles catalogues, now showcasing their "Azimuth" EP. With over two decades success in the dance music industry and several hundred production credits to their name, the duo joined forces in late 2019 leading to a Balkan Connection debut in July 2020 courtesy of the "Fantastic Playground" EP. Since then, music for such established imprints as Sound Avenue, The Purr and Stellar Fountain have continued to see the pair scale the heights of the underground dance scene. Now debuting on Particles, "Azimuth" sees Mariner + Domingo create a flowing organic house track characterised by intricate percussive groove, full of acoustic hits and woodblock delight. Building smoothly, joyous motifs float across the 6-minute piece as expertly balanced melodies and vocal phrasing play off each other, evolving effortlessly in symbiotic fashion as they reach their zenith in the latter stages. "Spirit Guide" continues the rhythmic narrative of the title track as a head-shaking groove and heavy beat quickly takes shape. A smooth bassline makes its presence felt as multi-layered pads and shimmering counterpoint melody provide the perfect accompaniment for a female vocal to meander across the track. A stripped back breakdown provides the opportunity for melodic elements to come together moving powerfully forward in the second half to create a summery organic house offering.

Juan Deminicis has been a regular on the Proton Music and Particles catalogues throughout a highly successful and impressive career. Always in the playlists of the DJ glitterati, a host of original work for Proton Music via the "Life on the Moon" and "Synchronicity" EPs, has been complemented by Particles editions including remixes from Gux Jimenez, Ejaz Ahmed and Lucas Rossi. Now returning with his own production material for the first time since debuting with "Outstanding" as part of the "Winter Particles 2012" compilation, the Juan Deminicis remix of "Azimuth" is a typically impressive reworking that captures the essence of the original while creating a swathe of additional production material that makes the track his own. A subterranean bassline and rich rhythmic groove provide the backdrop for new melodies to shine through as they glitter and shimmer against the vocal phrasing of the original, building in spine-tingling emotion into the third movement. The result is a very special interpretation.

Another artist with a strong Particles relationship, Rafa'EL debuted on the label with "Montessori" on the "Summer 2015" album. Since then, June 2018's "Twin Flames" and November 2019's "Floating Moments" have shone a bright light on the Polish artist's talent and creativity. Seeing that relationship grow stronger still, the Rafa'EL remix captures the essence of "Spirit Guide" while transforming the melodic themes present in the original into a delightful interpretation where a new piano motif sits perfectly against the shimmering phrasing and a pitched vocal variation of the original. An emotive string section makes a powerful statement at the breakdown before extending into the second half as rhythmic elements from Mariner + Domingo lilt delicately atop to create a wondrous groove. A powerful beat and sustained bassline complete the sonic collage in an expertly crafted interpretation.
