The latest release from Madloch's Sound Avenue imprint welcomes Arina Mur back to the label for her debut single. Since making her production debut just over three years ago, the Russian artist has found a home on Anjunadeep, Akbal Music and Seven Villas, where her deep, organic sound has flourished. Also, an accomplished DJ, Arina has had the honour of opening for top international talents such as MANDY, Pablo Bolivar, Gorje Hewek and Izhevski. October of 2020 marked Arina's Sound Avenue debut with a well-received remix of the Spotify hit 'Kafka' by Ercos Blanka. Now making a welcome return to the label, Arina presents a new single entitled 'Make a Wish', alongside remixes from Jim Rider and Pambouk.

Since first emerging in 2017 Arina's exotic sound has taken square aim at the dance floor. Her latest 'Make a Wish' continues that trend with a robust, well-shaped groove and healthy percussive complement. Bursting with ultrasonic qualities, Arina expertly marries vibrant arps with plush tones and choir-like vocal pads. Energetic and heavenly in equal measure, the first act sets the stage for a grandiose style break, complete with glowing swells and gorgeous vocal phrasing, perfectly setting the stage for a thumping drop and Mediterranean inspired finale.

Clubsonica Records opens the spring season by unveiling the third edition of their Sampler Series. The Colombian imprint's popular MMW and ADE Various Artists releases have become an annual highlight for progressive music aficionados. Operating under a similar ethos, Clubsonica's Sampler Series made its debut in 2021 to resounding praise from fans and tastemakers alike, with an equally impressive follow-up landing in December of last year. Limited to five select tracks per release, the label has showcased music from trending newcomers like KAZKO and Ric Niels alongside long-standing veterans such as Kamilo Sanclemente and Solid Sessions. Now, presenting the much anticipated third edition of the series, Clubsonica features new music from (in order of appearance) Andre Moret, ARCADIA, Golan Zocher and Greenage, Hyunji-A and Julieta Kühnle.

The collection's third selection and lone collaboration finds Golan Zocher and Greenage combining their extensive forces on 'Mind Control'. Based in Israel and India respectively, both Golan and Greenage have achieved remarkable success across their solo careers. The duo's collective discography is highlighted by releases via Or Two Strangers, Proton Music, Sudbeat and Tale and Tone, while Hernan Cattaneo, Lee Burridge and Nick Warren have been steadfast supporters. Having worked together previously on 'Lost Man', a track which highlighted Sudbeat's recent 'Showcrates' collection, Golan and Greenage masterfully synthesize their talents once again for Clubsoncia with 'Mind Control'. Replete with evolving, emotional and hypnotizing structures, the duo allows the listener to relish in its electric groove, building anticipation towards an apex of fragmented vocals, soaring riffs and elasticated synth swagger.

What is the purpose of a mix?

Basically so you don't have to listen to full intros and outros of songs giving it a better flow and a more complete music experience.
Like when you are a the gym and you got a good song feeling strong but then it kind of dies because the outro is long and the next song doesnt fit the mood you were in.
Maybe you are having a party and want dont want a spotify ad wrecking the shit out of the mood.
Or if you like Oldschool hardstyle but maybe don't want to listen to a 2-3 minute long kick-drum-snare intro and outro every time.
