Lovejoy is a member of the collective Missing Persons Club who have been instrumental in bringing some life back into the Glasgow techno scene bringing VTSS, Dr. Rubinstein , Casual Gabberz, SHYBOI and many more in for their debuts in La cheetah, the sub club and of course the lunar module

Lovejoys balls to the wall style of insane techno thrown in at insane speeds has been a driving force behind keeping the energy so furious by the end of many a missing persons club night!

Along with dj’ing Lovejoy is an extremely talented producer making raw analogue techno that is both thumping and wonky akin to the likes of Freddy fresh, Sane and Paul Birken. He featured on the recent VA put out by Scottish trendsetters Voight-Kampff alongside a recent release on @palais de danse which you can find on https://palaisdedanse1.bandcamp.com/album/pdd005-lovejoy

This week we present to you Then Banker for the Ismcast.

He is working as a cashier in a bank by day and as a cashmaker behind the decks by night.
In order to earn as much money with DJing as he possibly can, he tends to play stuff that is considered “cheesy as f*ck” or “commercial sellout” by his underground DJ colleagues.
You’ll never know what to expect by The Banker, the only thing that’s secured is: He will light his cigar with a bill and he will sort his coke-lines with his American Express Platinum card (black one is about to come, ya’ll!)
This is a project made possible by Ekserd - Ekserd is also the qualified ghost producer of The Banker.

clarity is from Canada and had the great pleasure of raving in London's hard techno scene. During her brief yet full-on exposure to London rave, she frequented Jaded and FOLD, hearing first hand from her favourites including viscerale and Tham. She became drawn to trippy, spacey yet hard, industrial sounds that are fast and expressive. Her energy on the dancefloor, as captured in her front row Boiler Room appearances (e.g. Djrum), is present in her music and is present in her demeanour in real life. She wishes everyone good wellbeing and hopes to be united at the dance one day.

[VAGUE006] SWART is back on VAGUE with a smashing 4-Track vinyl EP which includes a remix by one of Belgiums leading techno artists, Farrago! After a long time in the works we are happy to announce it’s finally here. On the A side we have a the title track, a fast and dark specimen with a rumbling kick, loopy synths and dirty sounds. Track 2 is a more melancholic/melodic piece that will hopefully take you on a trip. The B side is where it gets rowdy! Codex is a high energy track with pounding drums, sequenced synths and trippy melodies & we’re more than happy that Farrago decided to remix this track. He took it a step further and made the drums pop, added some acidy psy elements and a break that will make the people shake!
