The new solo project by Smadj (both oudist and electronic musician), starting point of a two part project. 

Solotronic; each time enriched by the richness of the musicians encountered, flushed on the road, from East Africa to China, Turkey, Morocco, Israel, South Africa and Zimbabwe.

The streets were alive and well with strife and trouble. The tribes ran riot into the midnight hour and caused chaos upon the boulevards. The empty alleyways became hotbeds of violence and hatred based upon territory and towerblocks. There was no rallying cry or roar of the siren as the police had long since left this town, now it was simply vagabonds and rogues who cast a spell of bitter rebellion upon young, impressionable sorts and innocent men caught in between the cracks. 

JAKAM appears on a new split EP for Lyon based record label and friends of Ransom Note, Hard Fist. He features alongside the likes of our own Timothy Clerkin, Shadi Khries and more.

Soma Saloli’s earthy voice and fiddle harmonies by M’Gilvry Allen join forces to recall the steadfastness of first steps in a new land, while echoing the green undulating glens of Northern Irish countryside and its cliff-lined Atlantic coast. On the B-side, a dance remix by M’Gilvry Allen resamples the melodic elements of the single into a rhythmic celebration of friendship and homecoming.

It was also during this period, that another manifestation began to take shape... A fascination with Psychedelic Disco, 80s music, drum machine synths and obscure sounds became the ingredients that formed Daniel Monaco: a melting pot for something he calls "Cosmic Combination".

Thommie G combines organic sounds and rhythms to his productions, carrying the listener to places beyond their audio system. His sets start out nice and slow, and rise to intense levels, capturing the audience on a trip through carefully selected sounds and productions.

His style touches elements of deep, melodic, slow house and tribal. He produces different sounds for different occasions, mostly by himself, sometimes joining forces with other musicians, delivering remixes for artists around the globe.

We are pleased to present the premiere of 'Thommie G - Stargazer'. The song will be released on the 27th of September 2019 via Whirling Wolf Records, So stay tuned.

Thommie G: “Stargazer was created over a year ago when I felt the urge to create an energetic track to rock the dance floor. Combining powerful synth lines, a strong groove and African voice samples, Stargazer is my weapon of choice for late-night dance activities. The track is released on @whirling-wolf, the Amsterdam based label that supported me from day one. Good to be back!”
