If You Let Me

An audition I did for radio spot; reading all the parts in one take, then editing out the spaces in-between the various characters. It was fun to change voices on the fly.

My son Luke Enyeart was 8 years old when he did this voice over for a piece I produced for Feed My Starving Children -  Luke played the role of "Sam" reading a letter he wrote. Spinning

Luke Enyeart was in a band Dakota 5 when he was 17 yrs. old. He was the only teen in the group. I would drive him to the gigs all over the Metro because they were bars and an adult had to accompany him. This was a live recording of the band playing at a Minneapolis bar one night. Luke played lead guitar. The singer was a veteran singer Max he met at an open mic night - so they made a band.

Luke Enyeart wrote and recorded this tune at age 18. It's a piece that was used for the title track of an Internationally broadcast documentary "About Her." The film was directed by Toronto filmmaker Phyllis Ellis.

My son Luke Enyeart recorded and performed Red House by Jimi Hendrix on an 8 track player with his buddy Joe Dunn when they were 13 years old. Luke played guitar, sang, and played bass. Joe played drums.  They did this very quickly - one take for everything. He then submitted as an audition to a national guitar competition at Berklee College of Music in Boston where he competed and won 2nd runner-up. Red House

Nashville based LUKE PRESTON BAND founded by singer/songwriter Luke Preston with Luke Enyeart (lead guitar)won a battle of the bands to perform at the Country Stampede in Manhattan KS. They opened for Toby Keith. They have a 4-track EP "When You're Lost" - self produced. The band members were 19 at the time - freshmen at Belmont University.
