Not even sure where this came from.  I ran across a bass and drum part I don't even remember making (happens a lot).  I filled in leads and atmosphere, then experimented with the backing synth at the middle/end that came about from a new plugin I got on Black Friday (Teletone Audio's Ondine).

AŬSKULTI is a collaborative project curated by Johano Nadabindu (aka João Svayam ) from the TUTMONDA sound label. Its main focus is to unite musicians from all over, showcasing their talent, language, and creativity on tracks that are primarily improvised.
THERE IS NO SUCH THING is the first track created with this idea of real time composition and the fusion of traditional sounds with an experimental approach.
PROCESS: João record a first classic guitar track on the spot, first take, totally improvised. Then added new guitar layers, with improvised solos. Next a bass. Then some effects on those tracks, and some experimenting with words "There's no such thing as too much thoughts". The two sections of the song were born with the first guitar track, so there was no later rearranging. After some months, when another 7 tracks where recorded, João sent the album to Nuno Mangas Viegas (TUTMONDA's art work and conceptualization artist), and while reflecting with him about this album a lot unsatisfactory impressions came by regarding the concept, the result and the sound. So João gave it a rest, recorded some new stuff and THERE'S NO SUCH THING got some drums and new mix. Here's the final result. The first track of LA VOKO!

Headed home after a wonderful trip to Florence in Italy. This piece reflects my current mood. I met a lot of new people and I took a lot of photos. This music is a spontaneous improvisation. Recorded at my personal recording studio at home. Please enjoy.
