Almond Butyl - Soft pine thorns

White Garden today welcomes music journalist, writer and new 'YouTuber' Alice Butterlin. Having first written for Manifesto XXI and the fanzine Le Gospel, she went on to work for Crash Magazine and was in charge of press relations for the Nahal Recordings label. 

She has since turned to literature, although music is still omnipresent in her writing, releasing her first book 'Les Heures défuntes' in 2022. The book is made up of short, very personal texts about her relationship with an album, an artist... 

She recently launched a music recommendation channel in the form of a depressed snowman on Youtube. She is also working on a second book project, this time a novel. We were able to discuss these various past, present and future projects while listening to the music, of course.
