This is just a track that I put together a night or two ago that I thought sounded pretty good for a first take. It's inspired by that moment in an airplane that you finally break through the cloud cover, and suddenly you're floating over this completely different world, like a veritable sea of clouds.

About this song...

Over on the WipeoutZone forums there's work underway on a fan made Wipeout Tribute video game. I was involved for a short time, and one late night in the wee hours of 3 am I threw together a track that I thought could have a nice place on the game's soundtrack. Sounded great then... didn't wake up with as high of an opinion.

Anyway, it's been sitting under the couch for a while, and there's no harm in posting it. The song is entirely sample/drum loop pack based.

talkin bout my baby is one of my favorite fatboy songs, but there was a lot of wasted potential there, it could have been a massive big beat epic, but instead it's left to just be one of the greatest buildups ever. this was a short experiment to see what it would sound like if there were beats, big beats, and it ended up evolving into this huge 11 minute thing. thought it was decent enough to post. beats are sampled from fl, deus ex, and other sources.
