Oliver was born in Rüdersdorf and grew up in Havelland until he decided to move to Berlin in 2006. He spent his childhood disturbing the peace of the adults with the knob of his home stereo system in an enjoyable way. A little later, this abstract call for decibel-supported soul-building was creatively heightened by guitar and piano. Inspired by the memory of music from his youngest days, he himself came to the radio from the first recordings he listened to at home, via nightly music broadcasts on the radio. Through later contacts and under the influence of a good friend, the gate to the music scene of the city of Berlin was enticingly opened to him until his first gig in 2017 at one of Berlin's largest party series "Bordel des Arts" in the Salon zur Wilden Renate with his former project Othertune. And so slowly the peculiar magnetism that seems to exist between aspiring and talented DJ's/producers and Berlin's big DJ consoles begins to have an effect on him.

Under his guidance, the label is responsible for introducing some of the brightest up and coming names in progressive house music. For over 20 years, Bryan has honed his craft as a DJ, sharing the stage with artists, Booka Shade, Miss Melera, Pole Folder and Isolée. In addition the Canadian born and Montréal native holds a residency at the world-renowned Le Salon Daomé and hosts a radio-show ‘Strange Town Frequencies’ broadcasted monthly on Proton Radio.

Ruhrpott grownup electronic musician and sound-designer, Torsten grew his portfolio with plenty outings on labels such as Platipus, Mango Alley, PHW Elements, Sudbeat, Afterglow. Delivered professional sound-design for big names as Native Instruments, Waves and Zenhiser. Even more and over a long time he produced tons of remixes, and more to come.

This week we welcome US based artist Cheric to the show.

Bio:

Passion and consistency are the foundation of a true artist. What’s in a name or status compares not to a focused vision no matter the course of the journey. Eric “Cheric” Chen is a Queens, New York native whose vision of making music that keeps true to himself will never alter. Many artists conform to the norm and “the now,” but Cheric creates from the heart, whether he loves his work or battles the inner critic, he won’t deliver unless the music comes from his soul.

Cheric’s music explores the subtle and expansive natures of dance music and that’s landed him original releases and remixes on Click Amsterdam, Cinematique (Manual Music), Baroque, and Box4Joy (Incepto). His remix of Bella Mer’s “Loaded Gun” gained much praise for it’s deep, hypnotizing, progressive soundscape and the story behind it. "Loaded Gun is about the tendency to be drawn toward harm and a desire for danger... a moth to the flame. A world in which every archetype points a loaded gun at each others' heads in judgment and blame." Something many of us can relate to.

With the inner voice telling him to keep focus and stay on the grind, Cheric continues to progress forward as a true artist. An artist who accepts difficulties and successes all the same in order to manifest his vision of making music that keeps true to oneself.
