Cope Till sent this to me recently, a track that we either started work on together or a track that he and his band started and I played guitar on top of.  Cope did the sequencing and loops, and I'm still trying to figure out who played bass and live drums.  Will edit this post once I find out.

Fun at Strident Trax.  Wonder whatever became of this track.  

Stand Down (Cope Till and XN)

Best song I finished in 2009.  Well, the most ambitious demo that landed correctly, I'll say that much.  By the end of it, it's like listening to Mew and Blue Oyster Cult at the same time.  That amp had such crunch and personality!

The Well-Dressed Runner

David Bowie's Scary Monsters, recorded at Strident Trax 2003 or 2004.  Inspired by his mid-late nineties band's take on the classic.  The guitar solos were recorded with Cope's Parker Fly, which I nearly demolished in this session.  Played it through an Oberheim rack mount fx unit with a metal slide, to simulate some of the strange animal sounds that Reeves Gabrels was getting at the time with other methods.  And there were the nods to Robert Fripp's solos on the original version.

I have a chip on my shoulder about a place I used to live - this much is known.  But I love the people that live there!  This song is a dedication to those people and all that it's inhabitants have endured and will likely continue to endure.  Things start to really pick up at about 6:42!
