Cover3 have returned to grace whitelabel cuts with their second mix of the series. The boys have been busy since we last heard from them, playing the likes of El Dorado festival as part of a busy and sought after summer schedule. 

As the academic year has returned and with that the students, the boys have resumed pleasing crowds in nightclubs across Oxford.

Oli Ong explained the inspiration behind this latest mix:

"Recently I've really got into my deeper house and techno and have enjoyed sampling and experimenting with different musical influences. This mix personifies a night out on the dancefloor- we initially take things slowly, playing around with atmospheric and ambient sounds, before ramping it up to the climax of the night later on. It is a bit more melodic, but has the usual drive and groove you can expect from a Cover3 mix".

DVLN is a techno producer from Campinas in São Paulo State, Brazil. He is signed to BLUMA Records and he is also part of NFTR, a collective of artists and DJs who put on popular electronic nights across Campinas.

DVLN is making serious moves in Sao Paulo's thriving underground music scene. With his wife and a friend, he founded NFTRLab, an exciting streaming project on Youtube which gives an platform for upcoming artists across his city. 

The mix DVLN has done for us is typical of his experimental style. It is a wonderful selection of atmospheric electronic tracks which plays for just over an hour: It is well worth a listen. 

DVLN- "For this short mix, I have experimented with different sounds and textures. I have put together different sounds from electronic and leftfield techno artists who have inspired me. This mix shouldn't be defined by a genre; I have just used tracks which I was enjoying listening to at that time. I have put this mix together to show what different sounds can be experimented with."
