Previously known as White Leaf, Ben graced Schirmchendrink with a mesmerizing 'Green Smoothie" a few years ago and released on prestigious labels such as All Day I Dream, The Soundgarden, and Amulanga. His earlier work garnered widespread support from industry icons like Lane 8, Nick Warren and Kölsch, solidifying his reputation as a rising star.
 
Now, under his new alias, Ben Monday embarks on a dreamy, cosmic journey, weaving softer, enchanting soundscapes into a unique musical experience. Ben has meticulously crafted his sonic footprint, with his music finding resonance on esteemed platforms such as BBC Radio 1 and BBC Introducing, creating a global audience eager to tune into his magnetic soundscapes. 
 
Shoutout to Ben’s favorite cocktail spot in Manchester, The Alchemist Bar, where the Screwball cocktail - a tribute to the nostalgic childhood dessert - was born. Featuring bubble gum nostalgia blended with vodka, blue citrus liqueur, and a creamy white chocolate foam, this playful drink perfectly reflects Ben’s fusion of wistful melodies, vibrant rhythms, and creative flair. It’s a true celebration of artistry, flavor, and childhood memory. Ben’s interpretation of the Screwball comes in the form of an epic 3-hour mix, packed with unreleased and upcoming gems from his exciting new venture!

Newcomer White Leaf has had an intriguing start into the scene with an immediate support from Kölsch on BBC Radio 1. His type of music has a charming & light feel to it, while focusing on touching harmonies, that fade in and out throughout his productions.

His new imprint Sag & Tre launched last month with new incredible dreamy classical cuts coming over the Summer and beyond, with a special VA coming in August.

Staring into the reflections below, a mystery of life and color begins to unfold.

2019 has already been a huge year for White Leaf. In January alone, his impressive label imprint, Sag & Tre, released a powerful Various Artist compilation (Tracks: White Lead/Hosini Remix, DOTB, Savvas, Fulltone, DSF, LØC/Innsæi, and more), and he was also featured most recently on the Magician On Duty Two Year Anniversary compilation. Canopy Sounds could't be any happier catching this hot artist in this moment.

His music has a charming & light feel to it, while focusing on touching harmonies, that fade in and out throughout his productions. White Leaf is passionate about his little boutique label he often calls the orchard - based on the imagery surrounding the label. With his EP coming soon dropping on David Hohme's Where The Heart Is, his recent remix on Silk Music and a recent single on Magician On Duty affirm White Leaf's position as someone to keep an eye out for.

With Manchester being his home ground now, White Leaf’s name was made up randomly - quite conversely to his decision of becoming a producer/DJ. Besides producing, White Leaf likes time out under the sun, aimless imagining of the beach and a fine drink with friends.

White Leaf : Good Morning from Manchester

Welcome September – bye August! May we take it step by step now, towards autumn... with this lovable Green Smoothie by a rising star on the horizon of deep and dreamy, charming and light electronic music: White Leaf!

White Leaf, born in Poland and based in UK, has had an intriguing launch into the scene with his first release „Coquelicot“ which got immediate support by some oft he biggest names out there. With his newest production „Plein d’Amour“ he made it already on the Summer Sampler of  the mighty All Day I Dream label. And, his own label „Sag & Tre“ is successfully putting out fruit orchards and home made deep house treats.

White Leaf’s productions focus on touching harmonies and melodies. With his dj sets he is going the extra mile, striving for a reflective journey to tell each time. In his fantastic Green Smoothie he uses quotes from BBC One's drama Baptiste & HBO's acclaimed Chernobyl series to underline the story to tell. The in-demand Polish producer also features Polish radio samples as well as other little snippets, reflecting his personal journey from growing up in industrial Silesta, a part of modern Poland, to living in the busy city of Manchester, where he is developing his passion further.

Welcome on board White Leaf, thanks for a healthy start into the week! Without bad conscience we’re having another round of Green Smoothies!
