A resurrection through music — The Chapel of Shadows is the debut full-length album from The Black Cross, blending gothic atmosphere, cinematic darkness, and hard rock devotion.

Each track is a ritual — from the seductive depths of Velvet Crucifix and Lilith, to the anthemic sorrow of Darkness Is My Friend and Black. This is not a collection of songs, but a liturgy for the forsaken. Woven with haunting synths, cathedral-like drums, and poetic lyrics, the album explores themes of spiritual decay, desire, and transformation.

Led by Michael’s commanding voice and the spectral presence of Lilith, The Chapel of Shadows invites the listener into a world where angels fall, saints lie, and beauty is born in ruin.

Out now on Ultra Music, the Chicago-based duo’s latest release “Love Is Alive” was co-written and co-produced by artist / producer, Elohim. The dreamy track comes together with a melodic guitar riff layered upon a soothing bassline, underscored by Elohim’s euphonic voice.

Fans can catch “Love Is Alive” along with Louis The Child’s robust catalogue of pop-crossover productions on their spring tour which kicked off this week and will stop through 22 US cities over the next two months.
