White Lilac formed in the winter of 2014, realising the foursome’s transformation from tender acoustic roots into a dark expansive soundscape that combines wooden shed aesthetics with dreams of the sublime. Lucid vocal melodies, complimented by intricate guitar and sensitive percussion, all encased in a mass of strings and endless reverb; White Lilac tap into post-punk and indie-pop influences, aspiring towards the discordant, noisy and ethereal.
