Album­beskrivning

“Evil Gods of the Elites” är Skeumorph Plauges mest apokalyptiska och kompromisslösa verk hittills — ett konceptalbum som skildrar mänsklighetens sista tid i en värld styrd av osynliga härskare, uråldriga gudar och maskerade makter som manipulerar civilisationens slutskede.

Omslaget, med sin elektriska rift av blått ljus i ett annars bottenlöst mörker, speglar albumets kärna: en spricka i himlen där de sanna härskarna visar sig. Här föds den nya ordningen — kall, främmande, gudlös.

Musikaliskt är albumet en blandning av dystopisk blackmetal, industriell undergångsestetik och rituella ljudlandskap. Det är brutalitet med mening. Kaos med syfte. En resa in i en framtid som inte längre tillhör människan.

Slaughter of the Stars [part 1]

Another mixtest with the new Axe-FX II Quantum Firmware and the Metal Machinery SDX, playing a section of 'The Bad Thing' by Periphery. I've tuned up a step to BADGBE (lol, there's even the word 'Bad' in the tuning) because my 6 strings are always in standard or drop D, not drop C.

Made a few tweaks to the drums and the overall mix. I'm still trying to get the levels right and the drums also seem to jump up in volume during fills, but it's something that I'll get in time I think!
