It’s a bonafide hit that put him in the charts in Australia and Italy. – “Come Into My Life” remains undeniably one of Kompakt’s catchiest pop tracks ever. “So Wird Die Zeit Gemacht” – builds on Paape’s signature sound with the spirit and vitality of classic house and a truly demented vocal hook. Debuting on Rekids, Laurent Garnier & Chambray collaborate for a colossal single entitled ‘Feelin’ Good’ featuring two outstanding remixes from label owner Radio Slave.

Having supported Rekids for many years in his sets across the globe, it only made sense for Laurent Garnier to drop one of his finest productions to date on the label. Although the legendary Frenchman has kept busy producing movie soundtracks (‘Paris Est A Nous’) and remixes in recent years, this is his first full release since 2017. He’s joined in the studio by Chambray, a Berlin-based producer known for releasing on Figure, Unknown To The Unknown and Jimmy Edgar’s Ultramajic.

Opening with sporadic battle cries, stabbing claps and powerful bass sequences before rapturous piano melodies come into effect – ‘Feelin’ Good’ is undoubtedly one of this year’s biggest tracks. On the flip, Radio Slave assembles two contrasting remixes that do just as much damage: the first is an atmospheric
number that marches forward using precision kicks, rattling percussion and rising pads, whilst the ‘Revenge Mix’ cranks things up a notch with its crunchy breaks before introducing the original’s blissful keys.

Laurent Garnier & Chambray - Feelin' Good

A long-standing operator on labels such as Future Disco and Boogie Angst, here we find the Belgian-based Portuguese-Italian making his debut on Pets with four blistering slabs of disco. A fine balance of groove, bass and cosmic nuances, we kick off with 'One Day We'll Float' where a bulbous party bassline springs from nowhere and instantly uplifts.

It's backed by plenty more goodtime gold: 'The Heart Take Fright' nods wryly at Yazoo while chugging from here to the horizon, 'Personal Numbness' is a much more contemplative, introspective jam while 'Electric Dreams' lives up to its name with a Moroder-like prowl that quickly turns into a full-on chase. Fast lane music for people who understand the importance of slowing down and taking care of yourself. Take our advice, make Vhyce your vice today.
