WILMINGTON RIOT EP releasing 12.23.13 Early Stream


So peep this in 1968 we had a riot in my city 3 days shortly after MLK was killed. A group  of young niggas incited this riot, there was a lot of tension racism, classism, you name it ism- resulted in a state of emergency and the national guard patrolling my city, harassing the public, doing anything possible that they thought would contain the people. But obviously military tactics ain't ever did a thing to contain people besides scare them and rile em up. THEY DIDNT LEAVE FOR 9 MONTHS....they had to get a whole new governor to get the army out of the streets of Wilmington, DE. I mean real shit, we still have lasting effects in the streets today, last week a cop got shot in the arm, the tension between law enforcement and the people continues to build and you can cut it with a knife. Anyway to move forward we wonder what can we do to affect the people and positively stir up something so that the whole city can embrace it and want to do better.

but really there is a Wilmington in every state, maybe several of them, whether peaceful or not, that RIOT may be necessary for everyone. UNION.
