Black Bear and I teamed up with Pell to create "Super Powers" in a moment of self realization. 

We see a bunch of super heroes on TV, but often fail to recognize the real life super heroes both in our communities and in ourselves. For example: The single moms that balance work, school, motherhood, and every day adult issues. The kid in class who stands up to the bully despite the consequences. The people that decide to do the right thing regardless if it's easy or inconvenient. 

'Super Powers' will be on me & Black Bear's collab project titled "The Bear & The Baby".

Keep Me High Up

I've been sitting on this track for a while. I wrote "Heart Soul Mind Body" at a time when I was struggling to find my place as a young black man in America. After personally experiencing the racial divide, then witnessing the injustices surrounding the murders of Sandra Bland, Trayvon Martin, Alton Sterling, Tamir Rice, Philando Castile, and Eric Garner I used music as a creative outlet to make this song. My hope is that this record resonates with everyone who has ever experienced oppression in any capacity. Most importantly, I hope my music helps myself and others move forward and find solutions to the race issues that plague our socioeconomic climate. Thanks for listening!

Heart Soul Mind Body

Stones is a genre bending indie alternative hip hop summation of a short chapter in my life. 

I played bass on this record while DJ Nicki Nice created the beat, and Warren Truth mixed it down while Showtime was asleep on the couch.  It was a good night that turned into a great song.
