i've been thinking a lot lately about the places that i used to visit when i was a child; the settings of which you can't recall more than one or two vague details. there are a few spots that i hazily revisit from time to time, usually accompanied by memories of family and friends. for me, i have this reoccurring daydream of an old hiking trail that my family used to walk together. it was brimming with flowers and all kinds of bright, friendly foliage. yet, despite the scenery, the paramount detail was being together with my family. i suppose i was too young to realize that small moments like these were the ones that i would come to treasure, and miss.

i made this little song a while back, and i'm sorry that it took me this long to share it with you. it's a reimagining of the clock town theme from majora's mask, originally composed by the wonderful Koji Kondo. i wanted to make something that really sounded like a tune you might remember coming from your old N64. playing this game always reminded me of nostalgic moments from my childhood, as i used to just be content with wandering around clock town for hours. the rainy weather on the second day in town always left me with a feeling of happiness and comfort. hopefully you can find a place like this of your own as well
