DJ Hooligan first played to a crowd of Ravers in London in 1989 with the Ruff Crew. He was in the right place at the right time with the right tracks and attitude & things started spiralling. Since then he has played at hundreds of Clubs, Festivals, Parties and Radio Shows as well as performing and recording with bands including Oceanhead and Kula Shaker all across the globe in his 30+ years of DJing, he was DJing in Space (Ibiza 1991), Spiral Tribe, Fantasia, Ministry of Sound, Pride, Amnesia, and created and promoted Club Nights in North & South London, Ibiza, Sydney, NY, NZ, Amsterdam and anywhere you want to come from. He first co-produced music in 1990 and continues to produce music with various artists and is currently signed to Lift Music Ltd.
As the name implies, he takes no prisoners on the Decks and is well known for "Banging the Party" resulting in noise complaints and the Criminal Justice Bill in 1994.
