First up, 'Holding On' anchors into a beacon of solace in Roos Denayer's rhythmic poetry. Cruising through sensual rhythms, limber progressions and permeating harmonies, this timeless title track is both an unwinding journey and perennial destination. Rendering robust symphonies, luminous climaxes, and satiating vibrations, 'Bayarmaa' is an immersive sonic experience that nurtures with maternal instinct and introspective resonance – a potent dance and redeeming meditation.
Up next, 'Khalango' converges lush organic sounds and ingenious synthetic elements to ascend to new elevations. Mingling mystical chants, riveting electronic inflections, and sultry strings, count on this dynamic dancefloor catalyst to obscure any concept of time and entwine the tangible and imagined. This atmospheric saga concludes with 'Kher San.' Careening nature's cadences with vigorous drum patterns, hallowed synthesized vocals and pervasive voltaic undulations, this lasting finale captures the boundlessness of earths sounds and the perpetuity of moments in musical storytelling.

Xinobi & Meta_ - Mujer (Anja Schneider Remix)

Italian artist Lost in Nirāi is up next releasing an EP on Diynamic. His four tracker „A Day of Sun“ also contains two features with Nigeria-born, Ireland-based vocalist Wisdom.

Opening track „God is the Reason“ is a deep but dreamy melodic house anthem that features the contemplative words of Wisdom and a beautiful children’s choir, made for eyes-closed and arms-up moments on the next music festival.

„Need Your Love“, also featuring Wisdom on vocals, is a more dramatic, but still hopeful piece. Driving percussions and the almost hypnotic chants are sure to make you move.

Title track „A Day of Sun“ is a more sombre affair, with elegiac string arrangements and serene arpeggios, building up to a piano break where time almost stands still.

And finally „Time Machine“, a punchy peak time Indie Dance track that keeps on building and adding new elements with finesse. Here the hero of the story manages to escape the collapsing structure and outrun their pursuers, with the treasure safely in their hands.

Ian Ludvig is a Spanish DJ, producer, and composer who has previously released on Damian Lazarus’ Crosstown Rebels, Connected, and Moblack amongst others, collaborating with the likes of Dennis Cruz since his debut release in 2015. Now arriving on Bedouin’s Human By Default for the first time, Ludvig brings three emotive and cinematic house cuts to the label.

Leading the release, the title track ‘Like A Drug’ brings gentle chord progressions, evolving synths, and rolling drums together under soaring vocals for a contemplative start to the release. ‘Chaos’ follows with dense atmospherics and clattering percussion for a heavy, chugging affair, before ‘Fear’ closes the release, initially maintaining the tension with a heady intro before opening into a gorgeous section of floating pads and additional vocals.

Boasting an impressive catalogue of career releases on the likes of Cadenza, Knee Deep In Sound and his very own KUNYE imprint, the highly respected South African producer now lands on Embassy One for the very first time to deliver his official remix for WhoMadeWho & Rampa’s collaborative UUUU album single, Everyday.

Due for release on Friday, October 28, Shimza’s hypnotic remix sees the KUNYE label boss reimagine WhoMadeWho & Rampa’s emotive original into his own spirited offering; his deep and rhythmic house grooves providing the perfect backdrop to Tomas Høffding’s lingering vocal refrains. Constructing an impressive assortment of rolling drum loops, sparse piano chords and stripped back samples, Shimza’s production marks the second official remix of the flourishing hit record, following the worldwide release of Jennifer Cardini’s remix on October 14.

Combining his unrelenting passion for electronic music with an inextinguishable desire to make a positive impact on his surroundings, Shimza is a totem figure in South Africa’s music scene and one of the leaders of house music in Africa. Launching his KUNYE label (which means “together” in Xhosa/Zulu) in November 2020, the imprint now provides an important bridge between South Africa’s emerging producers and the global stage.

Making history on Nelson Mandela Day 2020, Shimza became the first artist to perform on World Heritage Site Robben Island, where the former South African President and Nobel Peace Laureate was imprisoned. Raising money for the Kolisi Foundation, the Nelson Mandela Foundation, the Shimuzic Foundation and Robben Island itself, Shimza’s livestream performance fused music and culture to engage and educate audiences around the globe, while giving back to the community in extremely testing times.
