Love Is Never Enough (Lackluster Remix) - Angus Green "Love is Never Enough" DEBUT ALBUM

Angus Green is an increasingly diverse producer with an extensive and broad range of influences. If you aren't yet familiarised with his sound than here is a great introduction. Love is Never Enough is Angus's first full length album that flaunts stylistic finesse with a hip hop groove and smoothly layered melodies. 

Each track tells a different story, ranging from the sexy, moody funk vibes of Lonely City to the cunningly soulful and sneakily R&B influenced Love is Fleeting. The tempo also varies in tantalising ways, with slow, choppy head-nodding tunes like Pegasus and more upbeat suave flavours like Disco at Divas.

The title track naturally stands out as something particularly rare. A flawlessly wonky melody meets smoothly effected vocals to present and immersive and uplifting groove to the listener. This represents the album as a whole – a unique approach to electronic composition based around swung hip hop drums but containing elements of so many genres and flavours. The result is an album that undoubtedly contains something for every set of ears.
