The first in a series I'm releasing dug from the vaults of my unreleased mixes. I have a huge pile of mixes I have either never finished or didn't release cause I didn't like the final edit or it didn't fit the vision of a gig and sound I had in mind.

woɓs is a heavy bass appreciator with a broad taste and a "don't expect anything" kind of approach. Rooted in drum and bass, his sets often venture into 140 and glitch territory - built to take you on a bit of a journey rather than stick to one lane.

He first popped up in late 2024 after a mate threw him a set in Canberra, and things have been rolling from there. Since then, he's played at events like Bass Mechanics at Reload in the ACT, both Developmental and Developmental II in NSW, and the Spring Beach Party under Soul Jazz Soundsystem.

Blue-collar at heart and always chasing thick, technical bass - if it wobs, he'll spin it.

Coming from a deep love of audio in all genres of the musical world my mixes encompass the chaotic energy that is my usual brain and life. I create soundscapes with intricate layering of melodic chords partnered with deep wobbly bass lines, or bouncy funky upbeat danceable journeys, often dissonant but somehow drawing to the ear.

Nearly always incapable of staying in a lane, I craft journeys of sound that lead one from a trance like wonder through to dark swampy atmospheres, filled with elements of emotion and raw instrumental and classical elements. I combine genres, bend the rules and blur the lines between dance and journey.

Slowly building a name amongst the NSW and broader East Coast Australian underground music scene. 

Playing events such as, Dragon Dreaming 24, Esoteric Festival 2024, Basscamp 22 & 23, Subsonic, Sub-Terra, Movement, Tribe Ascension, Airwaves, Origins Of Entropy, Void Of Entropy, plus a plethora of smaller local events and a resident DJ and Core Memebr of Newy Bass Crew performing with them at many events around the Newcastle region.

All of my early work will always remain on the profile, covering the journey I have made in my progression of mixing from terrible talentless beginnings to a very mildy more experienced DJ, with a greater sense of my own unique sound and direction.
