Broken Man (Re-Membered) EP

This whistle stop tour of the Isis creation myth takes us first round for Dinner At Seth's, Osiris' cunning brother, who in a power play devises a party trick luring guests into a beautiful box for whom the winner is the true fit. Crafted uniquely for his brother, as Osiris takes his part in the game delighted to find he has won - the lid shuts on his freedom. Samples of voice yoga chanting, drumming, beats and birdsong.

Dinner At Seth's

Leaving aside other mythical tales of Isis wielding her magic to reclaim her Osiris, Seth takes further revenge on the body of his brother in an attempt to savage any attempt to resurrect him, carves him into pieces scattering his body parts the length and breadth of Egypt. Reclamation is the divine act of Isis, healer and magician to re-member and revive Osiris in the purifying and healing waters of the Nile. Looped recorders, melodica, chimes, drum collude in a track infused with ritual and drum and bass.

Reclamation

Isis X Osiris - the gods lure each other in a dance macabre weaving their power in sacred procreation. The night drips with both sensuality and sadness for before the dawn rises Osiris must descend to rule the dead and all life from the underworld. Garage influences, Arabic inspired trance. 

ISIS X OSIRIS

The Descent marks the last journey of Osiris now to rule the dead and all life from the Underworld. This improvised track uses sublime creations from Grotta Sonora - Eb Dorian mode tuned bowl harp harmonises with a sonically powerful Blue Night Sky gong and Crystal Tones singing bowl. Gathered sounds from The Temple of Horemheb in Egypt include chanting with my fellow sound sisters and brothers. A meditation on the stages of life as we enter into a more introspective and healing relationship with the dead and our former selves. 

The Descent

Dawn brings new life and light. Isis now steps into her heavenly mother energy to birth her son Horus. Here Comes the Son is an invocation for the son to rise and shine light, bringing vital life force in the fresh hope of vanquishing evil and restoring peace on earth. Summer sun vibes, '90s dance inspired with driving guitar by Jeion Nejad.
