Where We From

I am continually amazed at the vast amount of wisdom that can be found within a simple truth. We as humans often can't see the forest for the trees. I will try to keep this short. There are so many different scripture references on light..Ps 27:1 "The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?" ; Ps 119:105 "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path". We need to keep our lamps trimmed and burning bright. When it's dark it's hard to see, but, when there is light it is so much easier to see clearly. I hope this encourages you to get into the word of God and study. The scripture that most stands out to me on this song is Matthew 5:16" Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven". Jesus said just before that "Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid." Let it shine. Whether it be in what your doing, at work, at school, at the grocery store even. It may be in just some small way. When we give even what little we have to God, He can do big things with it. When others see the light  shining from within you, they may see a glimmer of the hope that you have, because of Christ living in you. You may never know how your light shining, may have touched someone and ignited a spark within them to seek Jesus, the light of the world. So while this song is just a fun combination of ages old wisdom and advice, coupled with the hint of a childhood melody brought to an upbeat track for the generation of this day, we pray it encourages you to let your light shine. All the time.

God has opened up alot of doors for us to minister & share his word in many places, to many people- who, like us, need Jesus. We do this because we love Him, and His love is so great we have to share it.
