We are very happy to share the very first - likeminded - release with you delivered by our dear friend and amazing producer Luca Donzelli.
 
- likeminded - is not like the common, genre-specific labels as we know them all too well, not another imprint that’s dropping hardly distinguishable productions every week. The basic principle coming to effect in this venture would be called ‘laissez-faire’ in its mother tongue. 
 
It’s not just one particular style of music to be released here, but rather all sorts of high class productions. likeminded offers a home for everything that represents the different tempers of the contributing producers and stands for diversity, as we believe in total artistic liberty.

Elevate return with Part 3 in their A Sides series.

First up is German production talent Ingo Boss with 'Unless' which has a really nice swung groove to it layered with melodic string stabs that just builds and builds. Second up is 'Before Dawn' byJSPR fresh from his 'Redemption' EP which saw support from Richie Hawtin on his Essential Mix. The final piece of the puzzle comes from Rob Hes with his track 'True Colours' who has also released on our label before alongside the likes of Ovum, Ideal Audio and more recently Tronic.


There's a bit of something for everyone on this release and a great follow up to Parts 1 and 2 which are still getting great support.

DJ.T’s remix of title track ‘Parental Advisory’ builds on the playful and mischievous vocal of the original, whilst incorporating a low slung groove line from the off. Gone are the lighter, organic drums, replaced by more metallic and punchy percussion licks whilst an array of menacing sub tones go to work throughout.

Following collaborations on Cuttin’ Headz and Leftroom, New York’s Jesse Calosso & Jean Pierre team up again for two rhythmic house cuts entitled ‘Feel Good’ on Jamie Jones’ Hottrax imprint.

Debuting on Seth Troxler & The Martinez Bros’ Tuskegee, Jesse Calosso has enjoyed a meteoric rise with regular releases on Cuttin’ Headz. Meanwhile, Jean Pierre – a selector at Brooklyn’s Halcyon - has appeared on labels like Desolat, Leftroom and Deeperfect. Together they are two of the most exciting names to emerge out of New York’s thriving club scene, with Calosso having DJed at venues like fabric and Panorama Bar, whilst Pierre has performed at Amnesia, Space Ibiza New York, Output, and Sankeys Ibiza.

Kicking into action, ‘Feel Good’ is a high-octane production with thudding percussion, distant vocals and a fluttering low-end. Meanwhile, ‘Mad Dawg’ features a low slung groove with its stomping kicks, echoing snares and moody bassline. Both tracks are geared with the dancefloor in mind and represent the creative minds of two producers with musical knowledge above their years.
