“Ruud van Es had an old movie video tape titled ‘The Late Great Planet Earth.’ Inspired by this book and the movie, we crafted an album that was completely different from our previous work. It was refreshing to step outside the box once again and be creatively engaged in the studio.” - Peru aka Peter Kommers, Rob Papen and Ruud van Es

After a little hiatus, Pinguin Society comes with a selection of tracks by Peru from their album called The Prophecies. This was a project new to them, where they tried out different styles and explored new paths, not sounding like what they ever released before. Back in ‘93 it wasn’t exactly understood by the fans of their previous work, but now it seems to have gained relevance again. Previously only released on CD and now compiled on vinyl for the first time for number 003 in the Pinguin catalog.

We aim to promote local and emerging artists, from all corners of the
globe. Showcasing diﬀerent styles of mixing and genres each month.
This is an ongoing show on the 4th Friday of each month at 12-1am
(BST) 9-10am (AEST)

Every month we will host an artist from diﬀerent sides of the
hemisphere. Bridging the gap between Australia and the UK, while also
sticking directly to our name AuuK – AU / UK.

For the month of June, we’ve reached out the wider auuk community once again.
We love doing this to showcase the vast amounts of talent we have here in Aus,
and abroad. One local Wollongong legend put his hand up and has graced us with
an all class, vinyl only set, that is oozing with 90’s & 00’s gems.

Known for crossing a rhythmic vocabulary of different sounds and genres, the rising
Dharawal/Wollongong based DJ’s passion for electronic music can not only be
heard in his eclectic taste, but in his talent for selecting as well. Fuelled by his drive
to find those hidden gems you’ve been craving to hear, Kneeoh’s unique sound is
heavily influenced by digging through endless records produced during the era of
the 90s and 00s, a time where Kneeoh believes to have been the golden age for
creative and timeless productions. As co-founder of @the515__ , kneeoh has
immersed himself into spreading his love for underground house music to the
crowd of Dharawal / Wollongong.

For this mix, Kneeoh has taken a deep dive into his vinyl collection to hand-select
some of his most deep and lush sounding records. This carefully curated and
soundscaped vinyl-only set weaves together unique progressive and tech house
masterpieces from the late ’90s and early 2000s.
