Why Did I Like Power Rangers?

Nostalgia can be a powerful thing in both a good and bad way. Peering through rose colored glasses manages to make even the most abysmal creations and situations seem like masterpieces and the greatest days of our lives, respectively. But was the show really as influential as it appeared? Was that book truly the gateway to discovering your life’s creed or motto? Was that toy based around a comic book franchise really nothing more than a piece of poorly constructed plastic? Nobody really knows and, unfortunately, the person who invented time machines hasn’t decided to show up here yet, so THIS brave soul will instead go back to the items, shows, songs, places, and people that helped define ME and figure out WHY DID I LIKE IT?
