Welcome to an aquatic exploration of sound. This new series of EPs invites you to a sonic immersion of different aquatic environments of the world through dub and deep techno as well as break.

For this first release, Boskøw, Martinou, Upwellings and Artos Eleven take us on a poetic and modern adventure of the Mediterranean.

Boskøw starts us off in Samena, a neighbourhood in the Calanque park of Marseille. A precious moment of introspection in the early morning, listening to the waves and voices of the Phocean city.

Leaving the rocky coast of Marseille, Reef Surveyor by Upwelling takes you on a boat ride to watch over the local marine ecosystem. Its faster rhythm conveys the challenge this entails with the increasing impact of climate change.

After a long day out at sea, Martinou’s Anemone sways smoothly with the sea current, interjected by small skanks shining through like rays of light at sunset. However, don’t be fooled - Martinou’s deep layers will slowly take over and entrance you.

Artos Eleven's Baliste evokes a nocturnal excursion between sand and rock. Named after the Mediterranean Triggerfish, its broken rhythms and deep water skanks will bite, leaving you wanting more.

The third various of our trilogy is landing. As with our previous compilations, we focus on artists close to the label and give them space to express freely their current influences and mood. We imagine this VA as a continuous story, exploring different styles from drum and bass to techno, with a care on sound design and psychedelia.

Last track from Milan based Atoloi “Verde Serpente” focuses on fast synth arpeggios and shifted percussions giving the listener a real psychedelic experience.

The mastermind behind Moon Mood Records, Gal Tsadok-Hai, joins forces with one of our favorite Dutch record labels, Something Happening Somewhere, and delivers a powerful four-tracker named 'Footsteps' EP. 
In 'Footsteps' EP, the Amsterdam-based producer returns to his first love - computer composing, which results in adventurous explorations of rhythm and melody. 
'sv_gravity 0', our premiere for today, is a mind-bending journey that blurs the lines between techno and electro and captivates the listener with lush pads and melancholic chords. The spacey sequence is a dominant force in this track that pairs like hand and glove with a fast-paced kick drum, creating a very energetic yet hypnotic atmosphere. 
'Footsteps' EP is coming out on January 30.

Moving through the mountains, the car illuminated the dark road ahead, guiding them as they careered around corners and darted amidst the mist.

It was cold outside, they had been in transit for some time - nestled in their cabin whilst the glimmering white of the snow capped hills was reflected in the glow of the headlights.

The nights were long here in the thick of winter, he imagined it might all look very different in the summer when the snow had melted and the green had returned.

For now he was happy being lost in the murky white abyss beyond the windows.

Donato Dozzy remains one of the most intriguing and thought provoking producers and DJ's out there - making him a perfect candidate for a remix of Bas Dobbelar & Vand. ACCENTVA007 - Various Artists 007 is a kind of state of the art, a mapping of the contemporary deep experimental and techno music scene. This musical work is without any doubt the most consequent and ambitious release of the label. It is a question here of showing through nearly 2h30 of music the beauty and diversity of the current musical scene, of what it has of specific, here and there, through the glances of artists from all over the world, emerging or now known, women and men. Each of them has added a stone to the edifice by marking an original sound piece with his signature. So many facets in this kaleidoscopic and multi-cultural collective work, which gives us a glimpse of new musical possibilities. This immense testimony is not only a marker of the contemporary era but also an aesthetic door to what tomorrow can be; and it is in this luminous and hopeful vision that the cover is intended as a symbol. The thousand-year-old olive tree is, through its fruit, a gift to humanity and, through its strength, a powerful testimony to its resistance to time, to its place in the landscape, through the strength of its roots and the beauty of its knots. It tells us what we are.

Let's continue together this musical adventure that has been going on for eight years now!

Indeed, the first opus was released on June 1st, 2015, from a deep desire to support a pioneering and adventurous electronic music; without exhaustive stylistic limits, and which wanted to be at the same time experimental, deep, mixed and sincere.

It then became obvious that it was necessary to reveal a music that would have as its only contours the inherent musical originality of each of these artists, regardless of their age, origin, orientation, experience, nationality, genre, recognition...

Twenty six releases later, and despite many difficult moments, loneliness, variable echoes, tensions, doubts, the label still exists, and resists ephemeral fashions, in a discreet niche of enthusiasts from all over the world! It is therefore essential to thank you all today for having supported in one way or another this slightly crazy, human and fragile project, carried only by the love and passion of music.

In order to celebrate this new step of the label, it is time to present our new release ACCENTLP005, signed by one of the key producers (both in the structural sense of the project, but also as a Light) our dear and beloved Gëinst! He alone is one of the reasons why this structure still exists, because each time I discovered his new tracks, I had so many emotions, that it was impossible not to react, to be silent in front of this pure and rare beauty. It is therefore normal and logical to release his first long format of six tracks, with solar and esoteric accents, where groove trance and deep techno flirt with softness, luminous and subtle, where finesse and elegance intertwine with relentless rhythms of strength and dynamism, Evangelion LP is an ode to joy, freedom and love!

This album is a testimony to the strength of music, freed from the canons, rid of authoritative figures that have become monotonous and too conventional, become hybrid, fresh and above all FREE. <3

For the second straight year, JIN Records will release a unique compilation with eight Taiwan-based producers celebrating the island. Crossing the musical spectrum, it showcases the diversity of Taiwan's electronic music scene.
To celebrate further, we will donate 50% of the revenue to the Taiwanese NGO Green Citizen's Action Alliance (GCAA) 綠色公民行動聯盟. This organization focuses on environmental issues and seeks to preserve Taiwan's unique biodiversity.
