Athenian Aggelos Baltas has been producing music for more than a decade now, with his Fantastikoi Hxoi project gathering both local and international praise for its bold blend of disparate styles and influences, spanning a wide spectrum of psychedelic music. 

His Anatolian Weapons releases on Lurid Music have been played by open-minded, adventurous jockeys like Lena Willikens (who selected one of his tracks on her Dekmantel compilation) while his edits have been appreciated and hosted by labels like Fortuna Records. 2019 seems like a busy time for him with a well received album on Tim Sweeney's Beats In Space, as well as a remix for Dark Entries and compilation tracks for Emotional Response and Crevette. Fresh from his U.S. tour he is ready for the next stint of European dates, without ever stop digging and producing music.

Zillas on Acid is Thomas Roland and James Weissinger, longtime residents at Philadelphia's never-ending nightlife institution Making Time. The Zillas mix post-punk, dilettante techno, and of course ACID to excite party people from all planets.

Before. Those who floated in the ark were weightless and had weightless thoughts. They were neither hungry nor satisfied. They had no happiness and no fear of losing it. Their heads were not filled with petty official calculations, intrigues, promotions, and their shoulders were not burdened with concerns about housing, fuel, bread, and clothes for the children. Love, which from time immemorial has been the delight and the torment of humanity, was powerless to communicate to them its thrill or its agony. Their prison terms were so long that no one even thought of the time when he would go out into freedom. Men with exceptional Intellect, education, and experience, but too devoted to their families to have much of themselves left over for their friends, here belonged only to friends. This is not exist anymore.
"All Human – No Conditions” is the first solo EP by the French producer Itako. The opener “The Country That Does Not Exist” is a slow burning and bass-driven tune in which hypnotic synth and acid lines merge with North African vocal pieces. And then appears MR TC. The Glasgow based musician stretched “The Country That Does Not Exist“ into a tribal workout with breaks in which he lets the machines speak for themselves. This remix was smashing dosents of dancefloors in the end of 2019 and it will become a hit in 2020.

FM label reconnects genres and builds new bridges between music, fashion and design. Established in 2019 by Milan Fatrla, label joins the flourishing scene of Prague with a vision of a music, in which the new revisits the old. A vision where strongly-rooted love for hip-hop merges with passion for everything electronic and danceable, to offer records where these two genres meet and reconnect. Every release offers a set of tracks which provide options for the DJ: dance floor slammers, broken synthesis and acapellas DJ tools.
With its modular attitude, FM label plays with norms of record sleeve design and fashion. In its first phase the label will put out three trilogies, each trilogy in a different package developed with local designers and artists.
First release by Credit 00, including a remix and an acapella from the mighty Egyptian Lover, is held in a cardboard sleeve which can be reshaped into a vinyl display holder.

Amplio Espectro is a Buenos Aires-based label curated by Carolina Stegmayer and Ismael Pinkler, whose entanglement of their names and personal/professional lives gave birth to the duo Carisma. They successfully amassed a true international dream team of collaborators for their forthcoming release: Cornelius Doctor (France), Andrea Paz (Chile), Bryan Kessler (Germany), Aristidez (Peru), Kodemul (Mexico) and Kamila Govorcin (Chile), each one of them taking us on a remix trip adding their hyper-personal touches to two Carisma's tracks: “En tus Sueños” and “Fracciones”.

The track we chose to premiere brings Aristidez delivering a trippy and groovy interpretation of “Fracciones”. The Peruvian artist, who rocked the world with his 2018 release on the almighty Calypso Records, flirts this time with percussive breakbeats and melodic synth layers, providing a cosmic atmosphere, but with his traditional Latin sonority. The result: A curious concoction that enriches the release of the charismatic Argentinian duo.

15th ИДА release is coming from Saint-Petersburg based Anastasia Zems. She delivers EP full of mystery, weird grooves, tribal elements, field recorded samples paired with her psychedelic vocals and ad-libs. 

On the remixes we welcome our friend, Karakter records’ own Pedro Martins, who transforms ‘African Fairytale’ into lush laidback breakbeat voyage, while on another one we see comeback of Aristidez who pushes the energy up on ‘359011_01’ and raises the trippy feel of the track.
