Snippets Music is back with the long-awaited second vinyl release. The EP was written and produced by Rambal Cochet, well known for his releases on Space Lab, Chat Noir’s sublabel Griffé, Junction Forest and many more great labels.

Rambal Cochet’s music is easily recognized due to the massive influence of goa-trance music and dark atmospheres. New release "Solaris EP" includes three tracks from Rambal Cochet and a remix of the main track from Dylan Forbes.

Two track EP from the Italian early 90's cult label, Interactive Test, helmed by legendary Falsini brothers. Both sides going generously past the 8 minute marker and well into the upper 120 BPM class of affairs, "Farf-Ability" is another show case of the experimentally excursive approach to the early Italian progressive sound, this time on behalf of Francesco Farfa. Two flavours served confidently: uplifting daytime ravey on the A side, and darker trancier night time on the B side, heavy on the percussive samples. Remastered and re-issued with new full cover artwork, featuring photographic evidence of a special moment in time for Italian rave culture.

Tooflie is back with a new exploration of regional sound from all over the globe by the anonymous crew of edits lovers. The five different, but equally impressive, cuts on the fourth installment are deep dives into the sonic carnival of Brazilian favelas through the skillful reinterpretations by hidden talents. The A2 track ‘CBACA’ bolsters the signature baile funk raw energy with hard house rhythms and acidic melodic patterns. Stepping between the funkier side of electro and polyrhythmic panache, MWR - ‘man with refrigerator’ is tailored to take the dancefloor to a new level. The opening track starts with a minimalistic yet paunchy breakbeat groove on 'PDNCA' and continues the deepness through the heavy and raw low-end extravaganza on 'RTK'. Bringing the vinyl to a close, 'LAPA' goes full-throttle on haunting arpeggios and leaves things on a blissful note.

Coming back with the same collaborative and intercultural spirit, the third release of Behua Icára is an EP - VA of reworks from the album “Non Axebo” by Withner FaGo, an activist and rapper from the Shipibo Konibo Xetebo community. Singing in his native language, FaGo narrates myths and legends, as well as stories of cultural and environmental resistance from his community in the central Peruvian Amazon.

Some of these stories emerge from the collective’s imagination and worldview of his community, such as “Chaikonibo,” which refers to enchanted men who protect the jungle; “Non Nete” - Our World - which describes the four indigenous worldviews of the community: Jakon Nete (The Upper World), Non Nete (The Earthly World), Pashin Nete (The Underworld), and Jene Nete (The Water World); and “Mai Yoshin” - Land of Demons - a generational tale from Pucallpa.

“Chaikonibo” has been reimagined by the polyrhythmic talent Crisa, who recreates the mystique of the story with an ensemble of organic Afro-Peruvian percussion. “Non Nete,” originally produced by Toma Kami for the label’s second compilation, now remixed by E-Unity, elevates the narrative, taking us to the rhythmic-astral plane with ascending syncopations. In the case of “Mai Yoshin,” by Argentine producer Mlee, it transports us to Pashin Nete (the underworld) with the calamitous possibilities of drum and bass.

Other stories tackle the daily struggle of the community against the threat of extractive and polluting industries. “Non Mai” - Our Land - a protest song against oil companies and deforestation, has been reinterpreted by Eomac, with a harsh and frantic percussive syntax, making it the perfect soundtrack for frontline defense.

“Koiramenon Ikanwe” - Let’s Take Care of Ourselves - denounces the threat of drug trafficking and the usurpation of the community’s agricultural land for illegal coca leaf cultivation. Produced by Reptile & Supersadfish, a duo from Guadalajara, deconstructs the protest into beautiful fractals between IDM and Jungle.

Finally, “Ea Ninkakanwe” - Listen to Me - narrates the experience of FaGo’s grandfather and his encounter with the depredation of his people’s habitat. Jasmín take, injects the perfect dose of 4/4 in a subversive measure.
