CYRK is a live show and studio project by Sammy Goossens and Pascal Hetzel. They mix up a love of Italo, Detroit-influenced techno, acid and electro on cult labels like Running Back, Polari and Lone Romantic. This one sees them link with Hard Ton, aka Wawashi Deejay and heavy metal singer Max. They have been leading the way in Italo disco and Chicago fusions since 2008, often with anthemic vocal tracks that come with a proudly oversized queer persona.

'Take Me To The Top' is a superb collision of worlds—throwback 80s synth sounds, crashing drums, and Italo arps are all topped off with sensual vocals. The results are raw and physical but steeped in heartfelt emotion and brought to life with plenty of retro-future colours.

Remixer Jorkes is a force on the European underground who has the queer community at the centre of his work. He has released passionate house and disco on labels like Robert Johnson, Permanent Vacation and Freeride Millenium. The remix is a slightly more paired back trip infused with pixelated chord magic and warm, heartfelt grooves that
cruise through cosmic worlds with style and grace.

Kalyug Citizen - Shiva Beat (Electronique De France) [LYO]

For the first release of GNC Record’s digital series, we present the debut EP of Dj Noche, a new project of Augusto Brasseur. In the first part of the EP, the clever vocals of Dami Paglialunga and Nancy introduce us to Dj Noche’s world, in order to later be taken away by catchy basslines and rhythm’s that invite dancers to join the dancefloor. Both tracks include their instrumental versions, where solid basslines and melancholic pads gain protagonism, giving more versatility to the EP and helping him establish his own personal essence. Last but not least, Saigg’s remix brings a more industrial atmosphere which is coherent with the Argentine producer’s strong presence in the global electro and techno scenes.

From the city of Rosario, Augusto Brasseur creates the identity of Dj Noche by combining a past of sweat, suffering and rock n roll with his always deeper exploration in the universe of electronic music. He has worked in production of bands from diverse musical styles and has developed himself in the live scene, integrating analog hardware with DAW sessions. In his live project Micro.Tron, he achieved a sound that captivates the energy that the dancefloor demands and has played his music at iconic clubs and parties in the alternative circuits of Argentina and Uruguay. He also has published his music independently and with established labels worldwide.

This time we've invited Neo to bless our ears with his captivating take on progressive house. Neo is a 20-year-old musician from Amsterdam, who finds inspiration in the dusty gems of his father’s 90s vinyl collection. Influenced by the sound of that era, Neo sets out to forge a modern yet nostalgic take on progressive, techno, acid and trance. The result is a four track EP spanning the fields of house, techno, and trance. Binding the spectra of these styles together with trippy motives, striking stabs, and intriguing synth lines.

As cherry on top, we have a remix by Tifra, which brings back many elements of the original track while adding his own unique flavor. The track feels uplifting while simultaneously fitting well within the realm of deeper tracks.
