In 2004 I was asked to remix Nitzer Ebb’s “Murderous”. I always had an interest in the music labeled as “EBM” including bands like Front 242 and it even had a strong influence on the band that was then started by myself called “Alloy Mental”. It’s always been a simple connection between punk and techno. 

I had long wanted to work with Douglas (J McCarthy) again but we had never actually met each other or spoken before, so it wasn’t until last summer I saw a news story saying that Nitzer Ebb were touring again and it just sparked the thought that I really should try contacting him again. I sent a message and then forgot about it. A few months later I got a message back from him and within a couple of days flights were booked to Belfast and he was coming to spend a few days here writing music with me. We got on extremely well and had an amazing few days talking, drinking and occasionally making music. 

The results are here in this EP. I wanted to capture a take on something punk that is just drums bass and a vocal, while slightly reminiscent of 80’s bands like DAF or Cabaret Voltaire, using a power beat from the famous Linn drum machine so it feels like a kind of stiff disco beat and just stripping everything else away to leave it bare and raw for the dance floor.

Radial Gaze - spicy electronic project two guys, which emits its powerful signals from the cloudy St. Petersburg.
Andrey is an electronic musician and producer, resident of the club "Skotny Dvor". Stas - sound designer, theatre director, author of music for theatrical performances.
After working well this winter, guys made few nice tracks. They experimented with live percussion, and native vocals, for a special color mixed sound.

Due to their musician nature the use of Analog Sequencers, Synths and Drummachines was integrated with big live components which can be heard in every single track. Obscure & Cosmic are the keywords to describe this album.

He knew not how deep or far he must go to dig himself free from this unholy mess, perhaps it was time to get started. 

Sutja has been a friend of Ransom Note for many years, a writer and a creative he has graced our humble webpages on many an occasion. His music career has grown in prominence more recently, however his latest release, an album on Lumiere Noire is perhaps his greatest achievement thus far.

Under the veil of night the creature slinked its way through the jungle, its bright yellow eyes like precious gems sunken amidst its silky black coat. This was their territory, and they ruled over it with pride, chasing out any intruders that dared cross their path. They lived off the fear they instilled within their fellow inhabitants, it gave them strength and feeded their arrogance — the unchallenged king of the jungle.

Following the release of In Fields album at the end of last year, Hoga Nord charge into 2021 with another long player, this time from duo Deux Control AKA Rodion and Justine. One for the French/Italian disco fans, the nine tracks across Sex Miami marry smooth 808s and enchanting vocals with EBM influences à la DAF or Nitzer Ebb. Coining their own synth-laden sound - let's call it psychedelic electric body-disco - the pair hark back to the 80s with a soundtrack that was probably too edgy for Miami Vice...
