Wicked Heads were formed towards the end of 2013 in Krakow by three members of the Dr
Zoydbergh group, Jacka Bilinskiego (guitar, banjo), Mariusza Wroblewskiego (bass guitar), Wojtka Siatkiewicza (drums, acoustic kits, washboard) and Kasie Miernik (vocal, piano, kazoo).
Since formation the band has continued to perform Dr Zoydberg’s compositions and started
experimenting with new instrumental sounds. Kasia Miernik joined the band at one of their concerts, after listening to her enigmatic and fascinating voice they have decided to form a new musical project. The cosmic and mysterious group – Wicked Heads. They have already recorded their first EP (released in May 2014). Their music has been influenced by traditional South American sounds. The end result being very reminiscent of American artists from cities like Austin or Wacko.
Currently they are working on their first album and first video to the track “Lullaby’s”. It is a
collaboration with Joanna Urbaniec and Lukasz Lenda. They have previously worked on projects with Dr Zoydberg while making the ‘Kret Kretyn Konkret’(‘Mole Moron Concrete’) movie.
An eclectic style, unique sound and unpredictable vocal along with crazy band members can take
audiences to an extraordinary cowboys and witches world, where you want to stay forever.
